Excellent city centre hotel. We came down from South Shields for the recent Sunderland FA Cup quarter final match and were soundly thrashed by Hull Tigers (as they are to be known in the not too distant future!). The pain of this beating was eased by the comfort of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff! The proximity to... More

This is very much like an American Motel, rather than a hotel. Reception and restaurant in one building, then across the yard is the main building which is on two levels of "lodges" all facing out into the main yard area. Accommodation is not luxurious, but its important to remember this place charges £35 a night for a city centre... More

Nothing to look at from the outside but our room was clean, warm and very comfortable. If you book at least 5 days in advance you get an excellent price which includes the continental breakfast. There is plenty of free parking which is a real bonus for a hotel this close to the city centre which starts just across the... More

Have used this hotel for events. The manager is rude and the organisation is very poor, would recommend STAYING AWAY! When i asked to speak to head office and if i could have the contact details i was told by the manager that head office is in Paris and to find the details myself, excellent customer services! Good luck to... More

This is a good base for a good price. However, what did let it down was the mould on the bathroom ceiling, the fact that they would not serve alcohol with a meal to a 171/2 year old even though it is legal to do so, hence lost our trade for dinner and the fact that they charge £6 per... More

Not a luxury hotel but nevertheless clean with all neccessary basics incuding free WifI and parking. Shower - hot and powerful. Plenty of fresh, clean bedding. Very friendly and helpful staff. £5 a night for dogs on top of room rate (more than 1 and it gets a bit overpriced). Room is big enough and lets out onto the grassed... More

A one night visit to sleep and eat. Check in was quick and easy. Room clean and tidy. Only one mains socket, beware. Linen white and clean. Bed comfortable, spare pillows and blankets in wardrobe. Electric wall heater, adequate but no markings on switches so on, off etc is guess work. Plenty of hot water for shower or bath. Clean... More

I booked this hotel as it was cheap and close to Hull City Centre whilst having a decent car park. I wasn't expecting much but was very pleasantly surprised. All staff I encountered were super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and everything was in good condition. The bed was surprisingly comfy. Free Wi-Fi was unexpected. Shower was powerful...
