Met up with family at this lovely pub for a get together & were made very welcome by the owners & staff. They couldn't do enough to help & ensure we enjoyed ouselves. This pub also has rooms, situated at the back of the pub in a stable formation, which look very welcoming too. We overheard a conversation at the... More

A very nice and friendly site. The room was excellent and clean. We had a meal in the evening in the pub adjacent. Would recommend. Although adjacent to a main road little noise was heard. It was convenient for visiting Hull and surrounding towns.

We called in here last Friday teatime after walking our dogs along the river bank, we sat in the beer garden and was entertained by the Bantam hens roaming around freely (keep dogs on leads). We ordered fish and chips and when it came it looked and tasted beautiful. Huge fish, chips, mushy peas and bread n butter. Lovely beer... More

A totally unspoilt local pub on the main road between Hull and Beverley with lots of off street parking , serving an excellent selection of food cooked perfectly and all at the right price . Fish and chips were the most popular on our visit , massive haddock beautifully lightly battered with home made chips and mushy peas . There... More

I chose this accommodation as I was attending a wedding with my family at The Lazaat at Cottingham. It worked out perfectly as the taxi ride was a mere £7. The rooms cost £60 each and were well worth then cost. I booked direct by telephone and found the staff very helpful. As check in was not til after 3pm... More

The Ship continues to go from strength to strength! Johnno the landlord has spent a fortune on a new extension and new toliets for disabled customers and ladies. It's a lovely pub with roaring log fires and a great beer garden, which is lovely in the summer and full of his unusual chickens, which are very friendly and cheeky! The... More

1 night stay with my wife and daughter, very clean and comfortable with ample space for a family of four. Pub pleasant and warm but no food after 4pm on a Sunday. Would recommend for anyone looking for a stop over or short break.

We stayed just one night and was so impressed with the way we were looked after. Had the chance to meet Paula, arguably the most important person there! She had every right to be proud too, she keeps the rooms immaculate! The owner even took the trouble to give us a lift to our destination after breakfast. All the reviews... More

The rooms were nice. They seem to be newly built at the back of the pub and are spacious, clean and well maintained. Beds were comfy with a full compliment of tea/coffee making facilities and breakfast of fruit, croissants, yoghurts etc provided in the room. The pub itself is also well worth a visit. Nice atmosphere and friendly people. An... More
