Very efficient booking in and H&S / Fire procedure instructions, room was nicely done out in boutique style with striped wallpaper, chandeliers & furry throws and very tidy with clean crisp bedlinen and towels. Good quality loo roll and shampoo, conditioner & gel too. Breakfast was continental style, custard filled croissant, tea, coffee, box of cereals and small box of... More

This B&B was great value for money and was in a great location. Its in walking distance of The Deep, ice arena, shopping centre and marina. The room was spacious and had good facilities. Included in the price was a self service continental breakfast that was right outside the room and included croissants, cheese, yoghurt and cereals. Below the rooms... More

I only stayed here for one night but will be back. A room that had more comfort than some 5 star hotels I have stayed in. Magnified shave mirror, fluffy bath robe...the whole deal. Very pleasant staff and the only drawback I could see is that you have to carry your bag up a flight of stairs. But who would... More

My wife rang the proprietor about a month before the 19th, October this year and booked a fiftieth wedding anniversary meal inviting family and friends who would travel to the venue from various parts of the country In fact we ourselves had travelled that day from leicester. When we arrived promptly on the date and time we where shocked to... More

The room was nice and clean. The bar food was plentiful and fairly priced. The only thing I found off putting, was the lady behind the bar was rather blunt and not particularly helpful. I did like the idea of the help yourself breakfast as I don't generally eat a large breakfast, but the croissants were all gone when I... More

The staff are really friendly and the room was clean and comfy. The let down is they don't do breakfast just a pot luck box of cereal on the landing. If your on business and need somewhere to stay within 5 mins walk of the city Center with loads of great restaurants this is the place for you and there's... More

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights this weekend, the staff were very pleasant and helpful, especially Julie behind the bar, very apologetic because of problem with certain drinks that were unavailable (Guinness), my husbands' preferred beer, the room (Marine View) was very nice, clean and spacious with a lovely bathroom, the bed was very comfortable. 2 minuses... The rooms are top notch and great value for money. The bar and dinning area is very well decorated clean and bright. We was greeted... More

Lovely plush room (Marine view) with robes provided, tea/coffee &biscuits and bottled water. Lovely bathroom. The bed was comfy and the decor fresh, with a brand new carpet. Well located, only 5 mins to the marina, town centre and about 10mins walk to The Deep. The rooms ate over a bar/pub but it wasn't busy or noisy during our stay.... More
