After reading so many bad reviews for this hotel I was really worried about my stay. However, I found this hotel to be absolutely fine if you literally just want somewhere to sleep. I've stayed in lots of hotels of different categories, and this one actually isn't bad at all for a cheap, no frills hotel. I stayed 2 nights... More

My husband and I were coming to the UK for work, and a colleague booked us at the Travelodge in Tunbridge Wells. The check in time is 3pm, yet you'd have to cancel by noon if you want a refund for the first day. When we arrived, we were given a room - we went to it and it was... More

On 29th April we booked 5 nights at the Tunbridge Wells Travel Lodge 18th May – 23rd May for us & our dog. travelling the long journey from the west wales coast we broke the journey both ways for 1 night each time. According to travelodge they offer rooms that are good value, both clean and comfortable and guarantee a good nights sleep. Failed on all 4 accounts. After driving round the very small car park searching for a space, then paying for the privilege of parking in said car park we checked in behind a customer who was refusing to stay and... More

I've stayed in the Tunbridge Wells Travelodge twice and had a pleasant stay on both occasions. The last time I visited was for a two night stay whilst visiting friends - we knew we wouldn't be in the hotel for much more than sleeping, so we didn't want anything too pricey. We were given a huge room on the ground... More

Having read the reviews, was really unsure but as we were only staying for 1 night thought we would give it a go as it was near to Hever castle. And we only paid £19.00 per room What a stunning building, yes the stairs creak, yes there was water running from the celing in the breakfast room, yes it does... More

We were attending a wedding nearby and this hotel was convenient, and being a Travelodge we thought it would be ok. However, it was truely appalling! The building is very old and dated, the paint is peeling, soft furnishings are worn. Our room was bizarre, the bed was very uncomfortable, there were dusty plastic cups and a tiny one person... More

Good points - the room was large and breakfast was ok. The not so good - the mirror in the room (room 4) was cracked, I couldn't get the sash window to move so it was partially open all night and draughty, there was no towel rail in the bathroom (there had been one as the holes in the wall... More
