Do not stay in 138. We did not test the bed when we first arrived but after returning from a meal in Sevenoaks we found springs poking into our backs when we got into bed. Stayed at this hotel last september when was in the area visiting family this month and when the time came away we had no delay in booking this hotel. and it didnt let us down. We booked this hotel at the last minute . We thought it was a good central place to stay to explore Kent. All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful . Our room was in a quiet position and very spacious , the bathroom was roomy and had a very good shower .The breakfast buffet was very good... more

Stayed here for a romantic weekend which was ruined, by the fact the bathroom radiator was red hot and left permanently switched on by the hotel, which resulted in our hotel room being a sauna. Staff are obviously aware of the problem but we were not told this when we made our booking in the middle of a heat wave.... more
