Stayed here in may 2013 on a Saturday in the Peter Lehman suite, absolutely brilliant, under floor heating, roll top bath (couples bath) also has a drench shower (massive headed shower) with room for about 4 people inside) comfortable furniture, queen size bed ,decent hair dryer, free wi-fi, free view and DVD player, a decent coffee machine not some cheap one... Usual great standards for this member of the HdV chain. But do watch out what rooms they allocate you. The rooms in the wing are small. Ok if you're slim and solo but bring more than one suitcase or more than an imaginary friend and it will be cosy to say the least. And if the bed was anything more... More

I am a big fan of Hotel du Vin and this is one of my favourite locations. Beautiful rooms, great restaurant / bar, great food. Lovely for a cosy winter WE, when the cold gets too much it's a pleasure to snuggle inside with a nice glass of wine

We stayed at the Hotel Du Vin & Bistro, Tunbridge Wells on Saturday evening which was a surprise from my boyfriend. I have to say the staff are absolutely wonderful and looked after us incredibly well. From check in, to the bar, to the Bistro for dinner and breakfast, right through until check out, they were all so lovely and... More

We stayed one night on 29 April in order to attend a concert at the Assembly halls which are in the same road and almost opposite this hotel. As the railway station is only about 10 minutes walk away, the location is very good. The hotel appears to be a conversion of a period house, with informal reception desk, and... More

Not just a hotel but a great wine bar and, whilst we didn't eat there, a decent looking restaurant and menu. Met with friends before dinner and whilst the service was a little inconsistent it was friendly and there was a good selection of drinks. The rooms were a little on the small side but well furnished and the bathrooms... More

Very good service, friendly staff, nice room, free parking, well located, fabulous meal with great wine - a lovely place to stay. Room wasn't overly large but we aren't complaining at the price charged. Bed was comfy, huge fluffy towels and bath robes, monsoon shower, everything you could ask for in the bedroom - great attention to detail.....we're working our... More

This was our first foray into the world of Hotel du Vin and we chose Tunbridge Wells for a quick night away for my husband's birthday, we wanted somewhere within 40 minutes or so from London and also where we could bring our dog - HdV fit the bill. Service on arrival was good, with an efficient and personable receptionist... More

We enjoyed a lovely overnight stay at the Hotel du Vin in Tunbridge Wells at the weekend - had a lovely room on the second floor which was furnished in the normal Hotel du Vin style of luxury furnishings - a super king size bed with crisp white cotton bed linen and pure goose down duvets and pillows. The bedroom... More

This is an old hotel, but very up to date inside. The staff are the stars of this show, all very helpful. Our room was standard grade and a bit small, certainly compared to our friends room, also standard, but much bigger. Luck of the draw I guess. The breakfasts seem a bit pricey to me, £12.95 /£14.95 which added... More
