Normally I'd just write a review of the food and the hotel (both good btw) but more importantly we wanted to record an act of kindness and service above and beyond. Sadly, I had to give a eulogy at a funeral of a good friend and former colleague. My home printer wasn't working but I thought put it on a... More

We could not fault this boutique hotel. The hotel is beautiful and full of character. We decided to upgrade one of their Principal Rooms and were not left disappointed - a lot more spacious than the standard rooms. Location, service and ambiance of hotel was fabulous. Breakfast was served in their stunning dinning room at back of property overlooking the hotel's... More

A big thank you for kindly accommodating my colleagues and I last Friday evening in the Havana room at HdV, Tunbridge Wells. Those that were able to join this celebratory dinner were extremely happy having been given the opportunity to experience dining in one of your private rooms. The food was fantastic and delicious, especially the chocolate fondant and raspberry... More

Many thanks for taking the time to write us a review. We were delighted to be able to help with one of our private dining rooms to make it extra special for you, I have to say that the chocolate fondants do seem to be a very big hit by many of our guests who attend private events, I'm glad... More

Hotel Du Vin is our favourite hotel chain and Tunbridge Wells did nothing to change that view. Beautifully located, reception was excellent and we were offered an upgrade (at a small charge) which we readily accepted. Upgrade room was lovely. Very good restaurant and bar facilities with excellent service. Not the cheapest place to stay or eat but we think... More

On Saturday 12th July 2014, my friend and I travelled to tunbridge wells for a wedding at High Rocks nearby. The hotel du vin was an absolutely wonderful experience for both of us, although much too brief, with only one nights stay. The staff were so courteous, accommodating, and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel terraces were beautiful, well... More

My wife and I have just enjoyed a weekend in the Hotel des Vins. We upgraded the room which was clean well equipped, large (by UK standards) and clean, good bathroom and shower. The breakfasts are absolutely superb. On a warm evening try a rose wine in the garden, absolute paradise!

I've been here for a large number of successful corporate networking events and for personal cocktails in the bar. It’s not cheap by any means and the barman was very rude and abrupt; however the receptionist and her manager were lovely and had great customer service; myself and my boyfriend went in with a gift card which had expired a... Many thanks for your review on trip advisor, and may I firstly apologise for the experience you received in the bar. We now have a new team in place and are working hard on their training and customer service to ensure that this is a dissapointing one off. We would never use Hotel du Vin again - expensive and very over rated. Check prices when ordering to avoid shocks when the bill has to be paid. Most importantly ask if you are going to share the hotel with a corporate seminar. We thought we were going to have a relaxed, comfortable stay, but we had to put up... More

Very dissapointed!!! my husband and i gave them 14 weeks cancellation notice for our wedding! due to the fact that a staff member made a very distateful remark, which put us off having our wedding there, paying out £2000 for the deposit and them trying to pacify us in keeping this money for them to actually do nothing for it!! it's... I am a wheelchair user and checked twice with reservations and was assured that there was access to hotel and adapted bathroom. The parking is awful but reception did reserve a space for us after we had checked in. When we were shown to our room we had to go up in a lift which was so old and small... More
