I stayed for one night after a wedding, found the staff very helpful when I booked, and was very reasonable - £45 for a night. Even when I phoned to say I would not be able to check in until after the wedding at midnight, this was no problem and the lady/man I spoke to couldn't have been anymore helpful!... more

I've stayed at the Swan Hotel twice now, first in Sept. 2006, and in May 2008, both times for 5 nights. I was in a nice single room overlooking the Pantiles, which was perfectly comfortable and attractive, and certainly updated. The hotel's website bears no similarity to the actual place. OK the address is the same but you can't see the sea from the High Street and the excellent menu choice no longer exists. I stayed here in January 2007, and the only things I can agree with floidybear are 1) The carpark is quite arkward (But Its FREE) and 2) The breakfast was superb ! The room I stayed in overlooked the famous Pantiles in ROYAL Tunbridge wells, it had been refurbished, had a new mattress, curtains, headboard and the waitress at breakfast... more

We recently spent one night at the Swan while attending a wedding in Tunbridge Wells.
