We stayed at Studley Cottage about 8 weeks with friends from the UK. We couldn't fault our stay. Lynne and John are excellent hosts. Breakfast was beautiful and substantial. The rooms comfortable and beautifully decorated and the bathroom spotless. Highly recommend. Anita and Paul Day Melbourne

This is an excellent place to stay and a really pleasant environment .One of the best things is that it is incredibly clean and hygienic .The breakfast was of a great standard ,it wasn't at all greasy. The couple that ran this were incredibly friendly and hospitable. Truly a first-class stay.

We stayed at Studley Cottage for two nights in April in the twin room and really enjoyed our stay. The bedroom and bathroom are beautifully decorated and very clean. The beds are really comfortable. Little things have been thought of, such as providing a hair dryer in the bedroom and soaps and shower gels in the bathroom. Free wifi also available.... More

I stayed at Studley Cottage for three nights this October. The cottage is superbly decorated and furnished, spotlessly clean and everything is to the highest of standards. The breakfast is magnificent, catering it seemed for every taste and prepared, cooked and served by Lynne. Nothing was too much trouble and Lynne and John were excellent hosts. Studley Cottage is a gem. We were made so welcome by Lynne and John, we almost felt like family. We were in the twin bedded room with adjoining bathroom. They were both spotlessly clean with excellent towels and bed-linen. Very comfortable beds, ensuring a good night's sleep. Breakfast was very enjoyable, with so much choice, cereals, yoghurts, lovely strawberries and... More

Lynne and John are charming hosts and make one feel most welcome in their delightful home. The rooms and furnishings are very comfortable, whilst breakfasts are quite superb. Our friends and ourselves enjoyed a totally relaxing three night stay and would recommend Studley Cottage unreservedly.

We had an excellent two night stay at Studely Cottage. We selected the double room complete with on-suite shower room which was very comfortable. If you were stopping for longer you may wish to consider the twin bed room which is larger and has a seperate bathroom. Lynne and John were superb hosts who really could not do any more... More
