Run by an equally delightful couple, this Bed and breakfast was my base and my weekday home for 5 months while I worked locally and I really was made to feel at home. All of the rooms are very nice and the beds very comfortable one of which is a marvellous size. Even the room which doesn't have an en-suite... More

We were looking for a B&B in Kent with good connections to London. Comfortable, quiet and still not too far from shops and pubs. Do not look further! We found a very good place. We can recommand The Brick House to any traveller, for business or for leisure. Delicious breakfasts, Relaxed atmosphere.

My partner and I stayed for a weekend at the beginning of August for a wedding. Our host Julia was very helpful and let us in the room early to get changed; she even allowed us to use her iron too. The room in which we stayed in was very clean and was nicely decorated. The breakfast was delicious with... More

We stayed with our children for 4 days. The house is in a good location for the town. The rooms are big, attractive and the cleanliness was very good. The house has a bit of character with books and art. Julia and Clive were perfect host giving all the information needed especially places to take the children. The breakfast was... More

Hosts were very friendly, polite and helpful. Rooms were clean. But the rooms and walls were cluttered and there was a lot of stuff/ornaments everywhere! There was a dog and cat roaming around which were friendly and they didn't come in the rooms, but there were pet hairs all over the carpets! Put me off my breakfast a bit as... More

We don't know if these people actually stayed here or not as the review did not reveal their identity. We found it strange that the writer got so many of her facts wrong. For example, the carpets; there are no carpets on the ground floor, only wooden floors. Regarding the many reviews she has written anonymously only a very few... More

The Brickhouse was a wonderful place to stay - the rooms were very comfortable, spacious & spotlessly clean, Julia & Clive were great hosts, & the breakfast was really nice. The location couldn't have been better - about a 2 minute walk to the centre of town (close to lots of restaurants & cafes), but still in a quiet location.... More

I stayed 2 nights with my wife over the weekend after a business meeting on the Friday. Our room was very nicely decorated, and it looked as though it was recently done. The room was spacious, and included quality soaps, shampoos and hand creams, tea and coffee of various varieties, and a chocolate each! The bed was very comfortable. Everything... More

The location is really handy, less than ten minutes from the station and very near to the town centre. The house has lots of character, with curios, books and pictures adorning the walls. The owner was very friendly and let us arrive early and then leave our bags for a few hours on the day we left. The room was... More

Julia gave us a very warm welcome and did not mind that we arrived later then expected because of traffic on the M25. The room was massive with a very comfortable king size bed. Lovely hot bath in the on suite. Excellent breakfast and off street parking. The location is very central. My husband and I would highly recommend. Wonderful... More
