Please don't waste your time or money on this utter dump. Every part of this place is just hideous. There is not a single thing I can say that is nice about it. Broken light fittings, broken switches, screws hanging out of walls, damp, smelly, loud. I travel lots and never write reviews but this place is just horrid

Possibly the worse hotel i have stayed in (and i say that after having stayed at the Ibis Budget Hotel in Newport, Wales). My double bed was in fact 2 differently sized singles pushed together. There were no curtains covering the window and the 'blind' didnt even fit the window and let in the same amount of light closed as... More

When I arrived and was shown my room I first thought I had gotten a bargain. Double bed (actually two singles pushed together), and an ensuite (which was better than expected so that's a plus). I was told that if I needed any more toilet paper that I had to ask. (There was only one roll and not even a... More

This place is cheap and has an urban/poverty charm to it. If you book with no expectations and scrap any plans to sleep naked or engage in coitus, then this place is fine. I stayed as somewhere to put my head down after a party. It was fine.

Stayed here last night - big mistake! Despite a warm welcome, the place is dreadful. The common parts are really grubby, need vacuuming, dusting and a thoroughly good clean. The room at the very top of the house was really cold and the laminate floor needed a good wash. When I checked in and was taken to my room the... More

We stayed here for two nights as we had a few things to sort out in the local area, so to be fair we looked for somewhere low budget. What a shocker. This is a terrible dump and needs to be closed. The rooms are tiny and very cramped with awfully cheap furnishings and fittings, mostly covered in dirt. The... More

Didn't even get to stay here it was that disgusting! Arrived to find our family room already had ppl in so were shown to "another" family room. It had 2 beds that looked like they were falling apart with dirty sheets, the window was wide open, it was freezing cold, my son needed a bed and we were told they... More

This is an absolute disgrace of a place. I checked in Sunday night as my father was in pembury hospital down the road and I had to fly over from Berlin. The rest of my family lives on the south coast and I felt it would have been convenient staying close by. I'm so glad my mother came with me... More

This is not a normal hotel but a scruffy hostel style place. I would not have felt safe as a single woman, and was glad to be with my partner. The place is scruffy and knocked together with any old bits and pieces - the bathroom was pokey and you couldn't move around well in it and the sink too... More
