This was our tenth visit to The Royal Harbour. It's like spending time with a good friend - welcoming, warm, comfortable and interesting. Chain hotels are fine but give me the books, the stack of vinyl (and turntable), and the open fire at the Harbour any day. Lovely cooked breakfast, too. We visited Ramsgate on the 17/18th April to visit Pugin's home and the Church he designed. This hotel is a real gem and quite quirky. Well positioned for the town centre and restaurants. Good views. Very friendly and would go again. More

The thoughtfulness started before we arrived! An email arrived apologising for the fact that there would be scaffolding uo on the front of the hotel.
