We called before booking... we have an 8 month old who goes to bed at 7.30 and we didn't fancy sitting in a room in complete silence for the evening! We were specifically given the room above the snug room so that our baby monitor was within range. We enjoyed a meat platter, red wine from the honesty bar and... More

A warm laid back feel is what you find when you stay at The Royal Harbour, with very friendly and accommodating staff. There is an Honesty bar, Free wifi, PC in the study and a log fire when chilly how lovely. This is a quaint and quirky hotel with quite a unique feel to it. If you are visiting Ramsgate...... More

A lovely change from the bland style you get with bigger hotels - I really liked the decor in the communal rooms - they were cosy, comfortable and very tastefully furnished, with an eclectic collection of art including some witty cardboard copies of old masters. Very pleasant staff, and some nice touches - you can make your own cafetiere of... More

Stayed here a couple of nights as family of five. Very welcoming and down to earth staff. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms are comfortable and have everything you need - decent biscuits and comfy beds. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to holiday in Ramsgate.

The booking for this room was only made on the afternoon of arrival, and I wasn't due to arrive till after midnight, but everything was absolutely perfect. A spotlessly clean room, great decor, and the staff were very welcoming. Right from arrival I was treated like a valued friend. Excellent breakfast choices, all well-prepared and displayed. I wish I could... More

We had a very pleasant stay in this hotel. Service friendly and attentive. Food very well presented and fresh fruit in abundance. Room clean and aired. Easy access to beach and town centre. Parking easily found. Looking forward to our future stays. Thanks

The royal harbour hotel is a lovely old fashioned hotel with charm. The rooms are comfortable with ensuite facilities, tv with free view and tea/coffee/biscuits, all you could possibly need. The hosts are lovely and can't do enough for you. The breakfast, wow, that's all I can say, everything you could ever want and more, it's our second stay and... More

Very quaint hotel which I think is family run. We stayed in a room with a sea view. When booking they told us the room was very small but we were a little shocked how small it was. The room had a four poster bed complete with bunting so It was like sleeping in our very own beach hut. The... More

Let's face it ramsgate ain't great. Pretty scruffy with few redeeming features ( other than a close proximately to the stunning broad stairs), but this hotel is a total gem! A stunning artists dream, of eclectic styles. Wander the lounges and garden, loads of great games and lp's and turntable. Very friendly staff, crisp cotton sheets and a superb breakfast... More

Lovely touches such as cheese and biscuits late at night, quirky art, linen table cloths and napkins, fantastic breakfasts. Amazing views out to sea and close to the centre of town and the beach. Great pub around the corner called the Queen Charlotte too. Highly recommended.
