Many great plusses - extremely comfortable bed, quality linen, beautiful views, friendly and helpful staff. We also had an excellent meal in the restaurant - recommended. Ramsgate itself was a very pleasant seaside town, with fine Georgian terraces overlooking the harbour.

We stayed for 3 nights overlooking the amazing sea views and sunsets on the balcony for great value. Then cossied up with the beautiful open fire in our bedroom. The staff were welcoming and and very accommodating to our needs. We are looking forward to a second visit in the not to distant future!

Located in central Ramsgate and therefore built a while ago, the hotel suffers with restrictions that hamper buildings of that time an these have needed to be addressed over the past few decades and have been. You cannot of course change the building BUT you can change the service and what service it was. So many nice little touches that... More

using this one frequently for business + good breakfast in a nice and bright setting + friendly staff + perfect location within Ramsgate (right at the harbour) - fairly worn interior - radiators work only selectively - bathrooms overly very tight

We stayed at the Royal Harbour Hotel for two nights, in one of the smaller double rooms on the top floor. Small but kitted out with everything we wanted, and with a superb view over the harbour, and painted a soothing light blue with lots of sea related paintings. The ensuite bathroom was clean and the shower great, there were... More

Stayed 2 nights this time. Small single, sea-facing, room high up...quite a view! Excellent Breakfast, as I have come to anticipate : with smoked salmon, scrambled eggs, fresh raspberries and strawberries, ham-on-the-bone...and strong ground coffee. A good start to the day, balancing the extensive, imaginative and gratis spread of cheese-and-crackers to end the night before. You need to be agile... More

what a delightful hotel, friendly people from when you walk through the door, lovely views out to sea, rooms aren't the biggest but very comfy, lots of little lounges with open fires that make it very welcoming, the hotel restaurant is well worth a visit and breakfast is something else, there is everything you could ask for so no disappointment.... Lovely en suite room with four poster bed. Small but comfortable with a wonderful view of the harbour and sea. Great sunrise seen from the bed and really nice breakfast. I enjoyed fresh fruit and cooked breakfast.

As weather was going to be good, we decided on a last minute stay at this hotel as we had been before. Nice helpful, pleasant lady on reception. Our room was at the back (we knew when we had booked); fairly small but adequate. Lovely big bed which was very comfortable. Good selection on hospitality tray, plus a couple of... More
