Basic but clean. Beds comfortable and shower excellent. Shame there is no breakfast on offer, but staff v friendly and helpful. Some might have access problems, particularly if coming back late. Don't be put off by the fact that it's also a pub!

Having stayed 3 nights a week on a regular basis I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Cosy, friendly pub, great atmosphere, friendly staff, and superb accommodation, with big rooms, big televisions and excellent bathrooms, with powerful showers. The pub puts on regular food nights..can highly recommend the steak on a Wednesday evening, at only £5!

Having booked with - Booking .com- I was very disappointed with our stay. Under special needs on the booking form I did ask for not to many stairs as my husband has a false hip - but we were on the top floor [told all lower rooms had gone} three flights of stairs the last flight consisting of 20 stairs... Stay on a regular basis, quality hotel, pub and staff. Great location walking distance to the town, station, beach and sea front plus there is always parking. If you want a great friendly atmosphere at a great price stay here. Benno

i am currently staying at The De Ville and the room i am in is a great size and is very comfy. The beds are great and the staff are extremely friendly. Plus the hotel is 2 miles from a massive shopping precinct with plenty of restaurants and a cinema. I for one will be coming back to The De... More

Stayed at The De Ville for a Saturday night, greeted by friendly staff. Although the room was on the third floor it was warm, clean, good powerful shower with tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast was very hearty and Simon couldn't do enough for us. Will stay again.

Top place to stay, stayed there for a few months whilst working in ramsgate. Can't fault the place, the manager and all the bar staff were great easy to get on with and also the locals were friendly. Would definitely recommend staying here if in the area.

We stayed here for 2 nights (friday, saturday) and couldn't fault the place. The previous bad reviews do not match up to our experience and we had a great stay. The hotel has been taken over by new owners (Simon and Lisa) who went out of their way to ensure that we had everything we needed for our stay. The... More

The Hotel De Ville is a Public House and Hotel. We have 9 rooms, all twin with en suite except for one single room. we have 2 rooms that are big enough to make family rooms with 2 put up beds. Breakfast is £5 a head extra, and (as i cook enough for me too!) is hearty and tasty. The pub is a friendly , busy place and we have live music on once a week. There are plenty of restaurants in the near vicinity. Some cheaper ones and some expensive ones if you want that little bit more!We are a ten minute walk from the town and the same to the Royal Harbour. there is a five minute walk to the seafront/beach which is straight down the road.we have people stay here for a few weeks sometimes an if you ask, you are more than welcome to use our fridge and microwave , or even get a take away and use our plates and cuttlery and eat it in our breakfast room.My wife and i have only had the place nearly a year, and have made some big changes. ... more   less
