Stayed for 2 nights. We had a sea view room but only saw the sea if we made the effort to climb out onto the balcony. Our room was small and rather worn around the edges; it took several attempts to get the right wrist action to flush the loo. Other guests in our party had full views of the... more

Stayed here as it was booked my other guests attending the same wedding. Firstlly when we went to check in - the guy behind the desk (dressed in very casual clothes) left us standing there for a few mins while he was chatting about music to another staff member. And then asked us what we wanted! ...........to check in of... more

We chose this hotel for its location as we travelled down from Birmingham by public transport & the location did not let us down. The coach & bus terminals were just across the road, it was 5 mins to the beach, 2 mins to Town & the Harbour was facing the hotel. Of course the downside was it could be... more

I booked this hotel for my fiancé and myself, just wanted to get away for the night - quite last minute. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Firstly the staff were very helpful. Then we got to our room and it was lovely, some of the rooms have been newly refurbished and luckily we got one those. The... more

What a great hotel, in a fab location with great newly refurbished bedrooms over looking the harbour. All the staff were very friendly and nothing seemed to much trouble if you asked for a specific thing. Restaurant was quiet but very pleasant, the food was traditional and tasty. The leisure club was small but sufficient and we had fun relaxing in... more

I spent three days there over the 2007 Easter and in general everything was pretty normal for a three star small seaside resort hotel. There were two things which I found unneccessarily irritating however. The first of these was that the shower in my room did not work, the hose was damaged. I received a vague promise that something would... more

I stayed at this hotel for one night as I was attending a wedding reception being held at this hotel. Quite honestly, if it hadn't been for the reception being held here, I would have booked into somewhere else.... I received a flyer along with the invite to the wedding about the hotel, offering a discounted rate to stay at... more

Arrived late afternoon with 3 very tired children and had to wait in reception for over 45 mins. because the room was not ready. Room very cramped and not very tidy. Bathroom very very shabby . The kids were excited about having a swim but I found everything to be very untidy and shabby, Tiles around the pool missing and... more

I agree with the other reviewer that the hotel is well sited. We had a great view of the harbour and very close to the beach and the shops. The room was what you would expect of a three star hotel, everything clean and tidy. We had booked a dinner, bed and breakfast deal which was excellent value for money.... more
