I first stayed here 6 years ago with my family and just this week I happened to be back in Dover and again I booked into East Lee. Well, I was not disappointed to find Patricia and Michael still run the place with the same attention to detail and commitment to making sure their guests feel comfortable and looked after.... More

We stayed there often and were never disappointed. Our room had a four poster bed, TV and tea and coffee making facilities. The owners are very friendly and helpful. They even made a full vegetarian English breakfast especially for us and let us park our car in their own garage. The house itself is charming and decorated with an eye... More

East Lee is a very comfortable guest house, centrally located in Dover. It is an easy walk to the train station and Dover castle, as well as the city center, buses, etc. The owners are very gracious and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, and my room was very comfortable and kept up nicely by housekeeping during my stay. Definitely a great... More

We spent two nights at East Lee Guest House before departing on a cruise from Dover. The home is quite conveniently located to town and all modes of transportation especially the buses which are less than a block away. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the bed was delicious. The proprietors were very helpful with advice and ideas for... More

My wife and I stayed at that charming B&B to attend the Golf Open. The guest house is located in a quiet area of the town at a walking distance of the harbour, the commercial area and the train station. The room was very neat and tidy but the bed was memorable, one of those classical tall beds where you... More

We stayed here for a night before a cruise. I emailed ahead to say we would arrive earlier than I had anticipated and got an instant reply to say our rooms would be ready for us. Pictures do not do the house justice, it is absolutely beautiful. We had two rooms and they were both lovely and spotlessly clean. The... More

This was the best B&B/guest house I stayed in during my entire trip. The rooms are lovely decorated, it is clean and functional, the beds are incredibly comfortable, the house is nice. The best part though is actually the hosts who are always willing to help, in a good mood and will go out of their way to answer a... More

My husband and I loved this B&B. It's in a great location. The pedestrian path to Dover Castle is just up the street. The major bus stop area and town is also around the corner. Michael and Patricia were amicable and accommodating. They provided a helpful list of recommendations and information on Dover. The room we stayed in was very... More

The guest house is sited just a short walk from the centre of Dover and is an ideal place to stay before going on a cruise, which is why we used it. We also booked parking. We were in one of the front rooms, which had a wonderful 4 poster bed in it! this was SO comfortable to sleep in.... More

We took a short break to visit Dover Castle and try to avoid the Chain hotels. Found this place on the web with great reviews. We were made to feel very welcome and the room and the rest of the house were beautifully decorated. It was perfectly clean too. Breakfast was lovely and was well cooked. Only two downsides... I...
