While the B&B is well located and we enjoyed having our own back door to leave and enter our room and having breakfast served in the room (a welcome break after numerous mornings eating breakfast in breakfast rooms), we found the room to be stuffy and very old-fashioned. Three of us stayed for one night before travelling to France. Two adults and 11 year old. The whole experience was very nice, we reluctantly left the next morning relaxed and refreshed. Thanks very nice Bev Michael and Tom more

The room (for 3 adults) is on the basement where you can walk out via a small garden without going through the main door. Although it is not a large room, it is big enough to accommodate 3 single beds with a table for us to have breakfast inside the room. We get full English breakfast. All in all, good... more

we have stayed here on many occaisions now. It is a perfect locaton for a stopover before and after a journey over to france and also for exploring dover its self. margaret, john and adaleid are so wellcoming and very helpfull, john even took us to a garage to get our car fixed after we had an unfortunate accident on... more

We stayed at the Number One Guest House (given the name because of the address and not its ranking as we now know) before catching the early morning ferry to Calais.
