This B&B is very nice on the inside. We had the Georgian suite. The room was beautiful and included many extra special details. The castle is straight up the hill behind the B&B. We literally walked out the door, up the road behind the hotel and hiked straight up the hill on a path to the castle. It was wonderful!... More

If you are visiting Dover or planning to stay overnight prior to your cruise departure, Hubert House accommodations are clean and large enough to welcome your entire family. While the on premise manager has a quirky personality, our room was larger than most hotel rooms in Europe, with free wifi. One notable element: you cannot access your room until 4... More

We stayed at Hubert House for 5 nights while in Dover for our English Channel Relay Swim. The owner Pete takes very good care of his swimmers and makes great breakfast... (Plenty and delicious for very hungry swimmers) We booked family rooms at the second floor. Nicely decorated, spacious and very clean. Conveniently located at the city center and very... More

Stayed at Hubert house two nights before a cruise out of Dover. Really enjoyed staying there. Continental breakfast was excellent. Hot breakfast available for extra charge but we found Continental to be enough. Very close to Dover Castle and a short drive to cruise terminal. Also has Wi-Fi.

We stayed at the Hubert House for one night this July. We booked a room there, because of the good recommendations on Tripadvisor. But our room was very small and smelly. The bathroom was ultra-tiny - we imagine it's not usable for anyone with physical limitations and also very uncomfortable for anyone else. We think, that it depends very much... More

Quite good, comfortable bed, wifi available. Friendly, helpful owner and good continental buffet breakfast. Well situated in town. Handy for shops, sea and port. Also only a few minutes drive from Castle and White Cliffs.

Stayed overnight prior to crossing the channel. Excellent choice ideal for parking. Very comfortable with superb continental breakfast. What more do you want???. The owner was a fund of knowledge concerning all aspect t of the English channel as he has swum it himself.

Arrived to a surly greeting, told our room had been cancelled. Showed booking reference, he showed cancellation print off- it was for a different booking number... told him we had , had website problems and couldn't get an answer from the hotel phone , so had left the net and then gone back in and were able to complete the... We spent one night here before travelling to Calais to commence a bike ride. Peter stored our bikes in a shed and our bike bags downstairs. The room was roomy and well appointed. Breakfast was very nice. Peter has swum the English Channel in a relay and turns out we had a common friend from Tasmania. Small world after all.... More
