We spent 2 pre-cruise nights in the Dover Room at this B&B. Large, very clean room, good bed. Fairly priced. Cosy bathroom, but one must remember this is an old building. Some street noise, but having lived in NYC, it made us feel at home. Great breakfast. Sharon & Vaughn are good hosts, there if you need them, but not... More

Had a good couple of nights stay at Castle Guesthouse whilst on a daytrip to France, nice clean cosy room and a secure garage for bicycles. Ideal stopover for Dover Port. Their English breakfast is excellent :)

I stayed at the Castle Guest House in Dover, as I was taking part in a Cycle around France with a very early Sunday Morning start, catching a Ferry with 700 other Cyclists to Calais. I was worried about leaving my bike in the Car overnight on the street outside, and Sharon was very helpful and gave me a key... More

I can thoroughly recommend the Castle Guest House for comfort, hospitality, food and convenience if travelling to and from Dover. We stayed on our way to France and as we returned to break our onward journey to Glasgow. It is well situated for the ferries and the town itself. Sharon's hospitality is excellent and the breakfast cannot be bettered. Thanks... More

We arrived late on friday we immediately got a upgraded room since we should stay for three nights. Clean and nice room. Breakfast cooked the way we ordered every morning. No problem to get a early breakfast (6am) the day we left for the airport

Location is good for castle visit (just few minutes walk) & cruise port. The "Dover room" was spacious (for a family of 4), clean, very good WiFi. Great breakfast was served by Sharon the cooperative owner. Be aware that there is no elevator and the stairs are narrow. If you prepare yourself ahead and pack the stay needs in small... More

We made a short visit to Dover to see the White Cliffs. It was a quiet time and Sharon upgraded our room. She gave us excellent advice about what to see and where to eat and even helped us out with forwarding some luggage. The room was great, the service even better. And all with a smile. Cannot recommend highly... More

The breakfast choice was fantastic and when it came the full English looked and tasted amazing. The hotel itself is situated near to the town center and... More

My boyfriend really surprised me and we got engaged at the cliffs during what I thought was going to be just a nice overnight getaway. We had picked out the Castle Guest House together. I thought maybe we might like to stay at the waterfront at what looks like the nicest Best Western ever, and it may be lovely, but... More
