Firstly, the good points. The location is extremely convenient for those getting the cross channel ferry, you could walk in less than 5 minutes. Check in was quick, we were given a parking pass and general info about bar/restaurant, although not how to get to the room. Rooms are clean enough, fairly spacious and well presented. Now, I don't expect... more

Stayed at the hotel for one night prior to travelling to France as we had an early crossing. Very easy to find & 5 minute drive to Dover Eastern Docks. We arrived quite late & the receptionist made a point of telling us that the restaurant would shortly stop serving food. Impressed as he could have omitted to tell us.... more

Location was good. Short walk to ferry terminal, Dover Castle and shopping. Rooms were ok for the price. Nothing special but no major complaints. Attached restaurant was good and was family friendly. more

We have stayed at premier inns before, so knew what kind of thing to expect. We arrived at 4.30pm on the Friday but had to wait 30 mins to check in due to a very large group before us. Otherwise check inn was easy. The hotel was fully booked so its recommended you book a table if you want to... more

Booked this hotel as was traveling on a 05.30am Ferry. Booked a family room, which consisted of a kingsize bed and two single beds, a bath/shower and a nice sea-view. I phoned before-hand to request a sea-view after reading reviews suggesting this. There is a bar/restaurant attached to the hotel and we had our evening meal there. It was a... more

I combined a visit to Calais with watching the mighty Shrewsbury Town beat Dagenham & Redbridge.I prebooked the Premier Inn Central in Dover well in advance which was a good job as the "Hotel Full" signs were out. Check in was fast and efficient, I was given a pass for the Car Park and was advised very helpfully by the... more

Excellent quality hotel close to the ferry terminal. Was a few minute walk to the terminal, reasonable quality restaurant located in the hotel(very busy the night we were there) Room was large, clean and bright and reasonably priced. Can see why this hotel rates so well. Excellent for a one night stay for a ferry trip(which is what we did) more

Can concur with previous reviews that this is an excellent choice the night before your ferry crossing to France. Stayed here with my husband - late checkin (approx midnight) and early departure and all was just as you need after a long drive late at night. Efficient check in process, payment in advance for easy departure in the morning, spacious... more

We stayed for one night in a family room (2+2) before a morning crossing to Calais. I booked this hotel after reading several good reviews on Trip Advisor. I felt that the hotel was absolutely perfect for what we wanted. The check in service was very good, the room was excellent -a huge kingsize bed, and two mattresses on the... more

stayed here for one night, with my teenage daughters en route for france. rooms were fine clean and well up to premier inn spec, lack of aircon/cooling was a problem especially as the fans they provided were inadequate. if on opened the windows one could not sleep due to the 24x7 nature of the harbour traffic. We decided to dine... more
