The owners, Beverly and Michael, are the most hospitable hosts you'll ever meet. When we arrived, we mentioned that we would like to visit Canterbury and the next morning Beverly had not only dug up the timetable for the bus, but she had also looked up the addresses for some local eating establishments. As for Michael, he will fix your... More

Michael picked us up at the bus stop in Dover and drove us to the B&B. We had the lower level room with our own entrance. Nice room. Michael provided a full english breakfast that was very good. He will fix the eggs any way you want. He also drove us to the cruise port the day we were to... More

Michael responded to all our email inquiries and made suggestions on mode of travel to Dover from London. He even offered to pick us up at Dover Priory, though we walked instead, easy enough. Michael did drive us to the cruise terminal at 1:30 P.M. after our tour of Dover Castle. With additional guests arriving and his son's birthday he... More

The double room on the ground floor has a private entrance, plenty of space and lovely en suite facilities. We found this to be a great pre-cruise location from which to explore Dover and its historic castle. You can be confident that the property photos are accurate. Michael could not have been a better host. He picked us up at... More

Excellent choice. We stayed 3 weeks in the UK and did not find a better B&B. Lovely room, very spacious and such a nice smell (aromatherapy). Ideal for families with children. Excellent home cooked breakfast. Good location, safe, and possible to park a car safely. I can recommend this place definitevely.

I stayed at a charming Bed and Breakfast one night in June which was owned and operated by Michael and Beverly Pirie in Dover, Kent CT17 OSY. This is an elegant home, offering to me a downstairs room with all the comforts of a top rated hotel. It had an incredible beautiful large private bathroom, brochures on Dover for the... More

This tiny B&B has two rooms, a double with its own entrance - and its own key - and a smaller room facing ghe garden. I stayed in the double, which has the most beautiful en suite I have ever seen. Everything is of the highest standard, the bed with its egyptian cotton bedlinen is perfect. The welcome i received... More

Fantastic weekend in Dover, made all the better by 299 London road. Was advised to stay here by a friend and I was definitely impressed. Where to start... They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day and I think Michael and Beverly take this motto to heart. Full English, sorted me out and put me in the... More
