A very brief stay in this hotel but still a pleasant stay. Arriveve laste evinnig and were gone early morning to catch a ferry. The hotel was right on the front and you could see the ferry port, it is in walking distance of the town where you can find plenty of places to eat. Rooms were large and we... More

Stayed here overnight when going for the ferry, on arrival, 9:45pm the place was in darkness, (I had previously advised the hotel I was going to be slightly late on arrival) no lighting at all to guide you up the black metal staircase to the hotel. The landlord was cheerful and friendly enough until he told us that we couldn't... More

My friend and I booked this hotel for an overnight stay prior to going on a cruise from Dover Cruise Terminal the following day. We were travelling by coach from the northwest and expected to arrive at the hotel shortly after 8.00p.m. Unfortunately, owing to two serious accidents on M6, the coach was late arriving and we were told that... My fiance and I stayed here for 1 night. The owner was fantastic. He was very helpful and pointed us in the direction of a few pubs in the area. The room was lovely. It was very clean and quaint and we very much enjoyed our stay here. The next time we need to stay in Dover to catch the... More

We enjoyed our staff. There was an old world charm. Some of the furnishings were a little worn but I think it added to the appeal. Breakfast was wonderful and the view from our room was peaceful and uplifting. We will choose to stay here again.

We enjoyed our short stay at the Loddington Hotel (although it should be labeled a B&B) It is a historic home charmingly made into a wonderful place to stay, and a short walk to the Ferry terminal and Coach drop-off . Robert, the owner, was very accommodating and knowledgeable about the area. Our room's view was of the White Cliffs... More

Though I was on the font of the hotel facing the main road (2nd floor) the road noise could be heard but was not really intrusive and definitely didn't stop me sleeping. Right from the word go the owner warmly greeted me and made sue I had everything I needed. If the castle is on your places to visit then... More

We had a friendly welcome and were shown to our room. We stayed in the pink room which had a nice comfy bed but the bathroom is across the hall and not really convenient. The sink in the room was almost blocked and a door fell off the shower cubicle. The room was clean but the bathroom/shower was showing signs... More

We were greeted by the owner and shown to our room, although no enquiries were made as to whether or not we'd eaten (we hadn't) or advice on where we might find somewhere to eat. Our room was clean and comfortable enough, although it lacked places to hang towels etc. We pre-ordered breakfast and had a very nice fruit salad... More

I apologise if I dealt with you and did not ask if you had Eaten, didn't realise that was a prerequisite when guests arrived. If you had have engaged me in conversation, I'm sure if I had dealt with you, I would have furnished you with the necessary advice, as this is my usual act. Towel rails are in all... More

We opted for the second floor front facing double room despite being aware of the traffic passing below the window. My husband spent childhood holidays in Dover at his grandparents flat in the area. The room was light and airy with twin beds which were comfortable. The bathroom is certainly due for an update as was past it's best. Desperately... More
