A grade 2 listed building cared for by the owner into bedrooms that are large ,spotlessly clean with private facilities.During our stay the owners parents were ill but we were welcomed and looked after to the highest standard. The criticism that the bedrooms are noisy because of the location near to the ferry entrance was false due to the more... more

My partner and I stayed at Loddington House Hotel for two nights: Friday and Saturday night. My overall impressions are very positive. The owner Robert was friendly and efficient throughout (from booking to check out) and I was happy with the good level of service. Some previous reviews have complained about outdated rooms and creaky floorboards but I found Loddington... more

This house is seriously in need of an update and does not conform to present day standards. The Hotel building is old (1838) and has some charm but an expensive makeover is needed to correct all the faults that old buildings develop such as very creaky floor boards. I stayed one night. the hotel had one other couple staying. There... more

We booked this directly with the property. For some reason my boyfriend and I got it into our heads to visit Dover on a bitter cold weekend. We were told that we would be the only ones in the property. We found the place with out a problem! The house was nice and warm compared to the bitter chill outside... more

We stayed at Loddington House for one night in mid Sept.,prior to our cruise. We arrived early morning from London Airport via a car service recommended by Robert (our host). The car service was effecient and resonably-priced. Our room wasn't ready that early but Robert gave us excellent direcections to The Castle and we set out on a lovely walk... more

We stayed at the Loddington for one night on the 1st October before we boarded our cruise ship. We arrived by National coach direct from Heathrow and the coach driver was kind enough to drop us off right next to the Hotel. This left us using the sea side entrance which has little pebbles on the path, not great for... more

The Hotel is clean and the breakfasts are very good. It sits on the main road which has the truck traffic running all night to the Port. So, it is very difficult to sleep. Inexpensive, but room did not have a bath in the room. Had to tiptoe down the hall a few times that night. more

This was my fourth stay at the Loddington House and hopefully not my last. When I was a young kid my family had this B&B recommended to them before my first European vacation. Little has changed in the 18 years since my first stay here, which is to say, it's kept it's charm all these years. Located directly below the... more

My boyfriend and I stayed here as a base for walk along the Saxon Shore way from Deal (highly recommended!). It's right on the main road which has potential to be noisy, but the double glazing keeps the noise out. From our room we had a view right acros the channel. The hotel was spotlessly clean, the breakfast was delicious,... more
