Have used this hotel a couple of times to visit relations in nearby Walmer. It's comfortable enough, certainly not flashy. Food is very acceptable. Decor is on the tired side but for 1 or 2 nights stopover, more than adequate

Recently stayed at the Swingate and got overcharged by £12.00. Did not realise it at the time and the following morning there was nobody about to complain to. If you stay there do not have breakfast because it was £7.00 worth of rubbish

The motel charges hotel prices, imagine you get a four bedroom room for £20 and you will get the level of comfort here. The stair carpet is dirty, the room had a prison window which was claustrophobic making to say the least.
