Wallett's Court-pleasant staff, fantastic food, comfortable rooms, quiet location, and a pool-tween daughter was thrilled. Pools in non-chain hotels in the UK are hard to find. Stayed for two nights-dinner both nights was wonderful. Dinner (3-course and many choices) and breakfast (choose from limited, but delicious menu) included in price of room. Easy to get to from Dover, less than... more

My partner stayed for two night with a couple of our friends. We thought it excellent value for £199 for two nights with a three course meal free for one night. The food was declicious and plenbty of it. We were also given complimentary drinks. The staff were charming and attentive. The small swimming pool had a wonderful quiet atmosphere... more

A very beautiful Hotel, but what a shame about the mardy manageress, I am dumbfounded that this hotel which prides itself on an excellent service has someone providing the kind of personal service that you would find in a 2 Star hotel in Dover. Maybe I should have complained and been as direct, un-helpful and as rude in my manners... more

Stayed in big group for business. Liked the food a lot. The room was large and I had no quibbles except that the shower head was broken. I had not time to try the pool or spa. Stay if you can get a good rate. more

We have just enjoyed another wonderful three days at Wallet's Court between Christmas and New Year. It was our second visit. The main house dates back to the 16th century, and has been kept beautifully but you still feel you can relax in it. From the moment you arrive and head for the lounge with the roaring fire and comfortable... more

Here are some points which relate to our recent stay. 1. The room was above restaurant in the main house. 2. Mattress did not fit the four poster . Chairs needed re-covering - they had gone through on arm rests. 3. Good sized roll top bath but nowhere to put soap 4. noisy fan in bathroom 5. Loo didnt flush... more

Where do I start...My husband and I arrived on Saturday around 4 ish as we thought we would make use of the spa before dinner later. We rang the bell as no one was on the desk and was then given a very hurried tour of the hotel. We were taken to our room No 19 the Honeymoon suite!!!! Sadly... more

Used this place for a special meal, won't bother again, meal served all on one plate, no seperate veggies etc. portions were small, did not think it was worth the price we paid. Would not recommend as plenty of better eating establishments around the area. more

We arrived for a 3 night stay & to be quite frank with some apprehension after reading some recent reviews. On arrival the first thing we noted was the "old world" charm of the area, the main house & many outbuildings which contained accommodation & the Spa. We were greeted in reception by 2 young ladies & were booked in... more

We stayed in this lovely Inn for one night on a 2 week tour of the UK. Our stay at Wallett's Court was one of the highlights of our trip. Our room was in "the Old Stables" over looking rolling hills and fields, just beautiful. Our meal was very good and the staff were fantastic. Not a cheap overnight, but... more
