I stayed at the Norman Guest House along with 3 others this weekend for one night. We booked a family room, which was clean and well equipped. Conveniently located opposite the station. The owners went out of their way to make it a very pleasant stay. They offered great advice about what to see in Dover, and also arranged taxis... More

My husband and i travel to dover from Germany once or twice a year, you would be hard pushed to find a cleaner and friendlier guesthouse in England. The owners are helpful, friendly and a perfectly charming couple who go out of there way to make sure you enjoy your stay. The breakfast is cooked to perfection every morning and you can vary from... My husband and I spent one night here last weekend. For the price, it was a fantastic deal on accommodation and breakfast. We were greeted on arrival and welcomed. It is located very near the train station and just a short stay into town. They have plenty of brochures and offered advice on what to see. Great stay!

Just wonderful people with an incredibly GREAT breakfast! We LOVED being in Dover and felt very at home in their home away from home. It is right off of the train so easy access, and it is an easy walk to downtown and to the harbor and view of cliffs. We enjoyed a wonderful hike to the cliffs as well... More

The couple Laz and Dev maintain this hotel with great care. Place is small but very homely. Our place was on the topmost floor. Walking up was a good exercise but once you reach, they have a thoughtful chair to the left. Not that I needed it but I liked the thoughtful touch. Breakfast was friendly service. Being right outside... More

We used this B&B twice on our trip to the UK as it ws convenent for the Dover Calais ferry. On arrival Laz made us feel instantly at home and took us to our room. We had a family room on the second floor. It was clean, tidy and comfortable. The ensuite was of a decent size and there was an... More

The owners live in the house and the ensure that you feel welcome and that you have everything you need. We stayed for one night, we found the place quiet and perfect to rest after a day walking on the cliffs. For example, we said the night before that we wanted breakfast, but in the morning we slept over a... More

We stayed at The Norman Guest House for two days before our Baltic cruise. Big mistake!! Dover is a very small/blue collar town with very little to offer other than the Castle for sightseeing. The train service to Dover is excellent hence we would have been so much happier to have stayed in Canterbury and trained to Dover from there... More

Booked at late notice to meet an early morning crossibng to France and enabling a visit to Dover. Kids first experience in B&B. Book parking if you require, it is available but mainly on street due to location opposite the station. Initial welcome was poor and the room decor very 80s but clean and bathroom was reasonable, we had the... More

Loved our stay at the Norman Guest House. Accessible and welcoming. Staff was awesome and very accommodating. Great value for the stay. Older establishment, but clean and well kept. Access to castle and cliffs is close. Delicious breakfast.
