We had a great 2 night stay here this November. It's across the road from the train station, so the whole journey from Kings Cross St Pancras took just over an hour. Laz and Des are wonderful hosts, and gave us some good info about Dover. It's a very short walk into town and up to the castle. The room... More

I read about breakfast being early. Now I know why. It is so cold in the rooms nobody can sleep. On arrival I was told that the car parking space I had asked for and had confirmed by e-mail didn't exist. We were then pointed, not shown, to the top floor and a freezing attic. I mentioned the temperature but... More

I went to Dover with 3 friends for a short trip. My friend booked this B&B for me. My previous experience about B&B is quite simple and crude so I didn't have much expectation about the stay. We arrived there quite late that night about 11pm with our bikes. The owner very kindly let our bikes in and kept them... More

Have stayed here once in May and twice this September to break our journey between the Midlands & France. Extremely helpful owner particularly as our ferry didn't dock until 23.30hrs so we arrived at midnight. Nothing too much trouble - lovely clean family room with en-suite bathroom. Fabulous breakfast yesterday morning to set us up for the day. We will... More

Although we were unprepared and very late to knock on the door, the owners of this quaint Victorian style house opened their doors to us with a friendly and welcomed smile. Situated near the heart of Dover with a short 10min walk to a beautiful sunrise over the cliffs. Roomy and comfortable rooms with all the necessities. Make sure you... More

I stayed for one night while visiting my daughter that works on a cruise ship and she was docking in Dover for one day. I would highly recommend anyone staying at this friendly, welcoming guesthouse that offers a clean and comfortable room and lovely breakfast. I would definitely stay again.

We only stayed one night on our way to France but would definitely stay again. Clean, comfortable and spacious family room with some nice home from home touches. Decent towels and bedding - always a winner with Nanna's! Good breakfast and ample servings and a good selection of cereals for the little ones. The hosts were lovely people. Well done... More

A group of friends and I arrived late at 22:30 following a long bike ride from London. The owner was extremely outgoing and happily waited for us to get in at such a late time. The room we were in was basic however perfectly suited our needs as a stop over prior to getting the ferry the next day. The... More

One night stopover. This centrally located B and B makes the overnight very comfortable. The owners are totally charming and helpful. It's a short walk to the castle, albeit uphill. Also classic English pubs within walking distance with all the warmth of an English pub. The rail station is across the street. Yes, it has three floors and no lift... More

The proprietor and his family were very warm and welcoming. I would rate them as very good. The location was convenient to restaurants, ferries and the train. Breakfast was good and the WiFi worked consistently in our room. Everything up to this point in the review was very good or excellent. Our room, however, was sadly in need of an... More
