Although we were given a double rather than a single room it all worked out perfectly. We had a sea view which was second to none. The only quibble I had was that it was a very small double bed. Come on guys lets have a kingsize. The staff were so helpful and accommodating. We opted for the breakfast buffet which... More

If you travel in this region and you get a room with a view to the port you can see, smell and feel the unique atmosphere of this old and lost place in the history. A place with a long history in the past was a high society place to spend the sunny days of the year and a start... More

This hotel seems to have very varied reviews, it seems to depend on which room you had. We were in room 103 first floor sea view. View was great but the windows would not open far enough to breath the fresh air and there was no ac, we were stewed all night. Far too small room for the price and... More

I had a 2 day stay during a tour around the countryside. The hotel is nice enough - i can't recall if it was 4 or 5 star and i thought i would indulge. i checked in and was then told the car park was around the back of the building on the left. it is in fact a public... More

We took my 98 year old mother to this hotel's restaurant for lunch. We had a lovely table overlooking the sea, the food was good, the service quiet but excellent and it was all good value. With shops nearby on one level we will go again.

Here is a stand out location with a (1800's) seafront hotel. I liked it from the start. Non pretentious service that's good but never going to challenge 5 star. Who'd want it to? Had a Pimms and normal unpretenious meals in the restaurant. Just good all round. A local flavour with some coming in. For a moment I noticed how... More

I spent only 1 night at the hotel with my friends . Very nice and comfortable hotel ( we were 3 of us in a family room and we had enough space to sleep separately in 3 different beds. I did use the SPA but I used the bar/lounge and the restaurant. the only concern I can make it is... More

My first bad review. I never got a reply when I wrote in to Mr Saban: "We stayed here last Friday and Saturday at £150 pn. I had read reviews about hot rooms and booked a balcony room to get fresh air. We were told on arrival about the 24hr hot pipes and so on. However the reason for a... More
