I stayed here a couple of weeks ago with my bridesmaids whilst preparing for my wedding and had a lovely stay! The owners were so friendly and gave us some wonderful star treatment which included a breakfast with bubbly on the morning of the wedding. The rooms were great and I had a good night's sleep despite my nerves about... More

I stayed here for two nights with three friends whilst walking the North Downs Way from Canterbury to Dover. The owners were very hospitable, helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and pleasant. Good breakfast. Location was also good, about 10 minutes from Dover Priory station.

We arrived a bit early on the warmest day in July. We were a bit warm after walking uphill from the Dover Priory Station (an easy walk if not traveling with heavy luggage for a 14 day cruise). No one was at the desk so we sat on the nice porch overlooking the most gorgeous flowers on the entire street... More

We stayed here one night, before an early morning start across the Channel, so I can't comment on the breakfast. The room was clean, comfortable and despite the fact we had a room at the front, was quiet. We had a very good night's sleep. The bathroom was better than the one in a posh hotel we recently stayed in,... More

The reviews for this place indicate that people's experiences vary. I didn't care for it or the attitude/manner of the owner. First off, the road it is situated on is full of very shabby, rundown Georgian houses mostly let as flats. This never enhances an area although obviously this is a different issue unrelated to my experience of the B&B.... More

We had a great time here for just a one-night, short weekend getaway. The owners were very nice and went out of their way when we had a question, for instance phoning their brother to check a bus schedule! I have to say, we were a bit nervous after the lukewarm reviews on here but it seems like maybe the... More

Good value for money but the rooms are small and the stairs narrow. If you have mobility problems than you might like to discuss rooms with the owners first. This was a no fuss no frills place which suited us fine for catching an early ferry. On reflection we would probably have fared better crossing the Channel and finding accommodation... More

We stayed here for four nights during mid July, booking two en suite rooms; a double and a twin. The guesthouse sits on the gable end of a main road at the junction with a side road on a steep(ish) hill, close to a roundabout on the way into Dover. We were met with smiles on arrival and the landlady... More

When I arrived at the West Bank the single w. private bathroom I had booked was not available. The manager offered me a twin with shared bathroom instead. I protested because sharing a bathroom with others is not what I had booked. Since I was travelling alone, a twin room was not an advantage to me at that time. The... More

Stayed here en-route to France and found it to be perfectly fine. Room was clean and the bathroom was also clean and well-equipped. Staff were friendly and helpful. Can't comment on the breakfast as we weren't willing to pay extra for it given what the room had already cost and so we ate elsewhere. Only downside was that one of... More
