From a warm friendly greeting from Alex who gave us info on local sights & eateries to a wonderful tasty breakfast cooked by Betty while being entertained by Alistair....it was a very welcome stay. A very convenient location for visiting the castle & the white cliffs.

This was a great hotel. We ended up in Dover after missing a ferry and needed somewhere to stay. Thankfully they had a vacancy. We stayed in a beautiful ensuite room with a conservatory attached. It was near a few restaurants and pubs. If I ever am in Dover again, I will stay here no question. And THANKYOU to the... More

+Stayed here last year, so knew what to expect. Warm greeting from Alex, good sized rooms and full entertainment during the cooked breakfast. If you like your little table for two in the corner, you will be disappointed. You all sit round a large round table, Alastair introduces everyone and then proceeds with his banter. He is the past master... More

We stayed here for two nights in the middle of September. Very warmly welcomed by Betty and settled into our room on the ground floor with the little garden room. Fresh milk is available in the sitting room and everything you could possibly need provided. A very Comfortable bed and a lovely breakfast and good company with Alastair providing introductions... We booked this b and b because it was convenient to the priory train station and the ferry/cruise ship terminal. We discovered it was also adjacent to the walkway up to the Dover Castle, which was an amazing attraction. The room was spacious, en-suite and the breakfast was very good with many choices. The b and b is used by... More

We couldn't have been more please with this B&B and it's hosts and wished we could have had a longer stay. This was our first time using a B&B and it exceeded our expectations. The décor is so lovely, the rooms very clean and the hosts were very enjoyable and accommodating. Breakfast was perfectly cooked by Betty with entertainment by... More

Thank you to Alastair, Betty and Alex for being such wonderful hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Stayed for about a month and almost became part of the family. Breakfast is fantastic. Stayed in 2 different rooms and both were very clean and spacious.

From being met by name as we positioned the car into the car park to the introductions and laughter in the breakfast room, Churchill Guest House is what one expects in a very good B&B. The facility is clean and spacious. We used the Clementine room. There is a shared living room just outside the room. The breakfast selection couldn't... More

Its spotless, its comfortable, great location, breakfast brilliant. But the management is where its at !! Just make sure you go to the huge tasty breakfast and see Alistair demonstrate the "pop up lids" and stir him up. Never has this been nicer, friendly, fun staff than at this establishment. If I could give it ten stars I would. If... More

Spend 2 nights there with a friend. From the photos of their website, we expected the Astor room to be quite small, but it turned out to be just great for 2 people. The bathroom is great and very spacious, everything was spotless clean and good as new. The family that owns it are lovely, very warm and welcoming with... More
