Host was friendly and welcoming Facilities were good, excellent breakfast with a good choice value for money , walls very thin could hear somebody snoring in a different room , also car parking can be a bit of a problem but all in all great night stay, handy to catch an early ferry

Stayed here one night before a ferry to France and would stay again. It is a very clean and comfortable B&B. Really nice hosts who do everything to make your stay comfortable. The breakfast was excellent the rooms although smallish had everything you could need and the beds were very comfortable. The only negative I could mention is the parking.... More

Stayed here a few nights ago. Martin spent time to explain what to see and do in the area. The B&B is good value and the you are made to feel welcome. Breakfast is great. Basically you can't go wrong staying here.

I've stayed at Sandown more times than I can remember and every time I stay Martin & Sonia have done something else to make your stay even more special. You think this would not be possible as it is such a wonderful place to stay yet they continue to add little extra touches. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Dover.... More

Having stayed in Dover dozens of nights in the past year, I can definitely say that the Sandown Guest House is undoubtedly the best B&B in Dover. The rooms are fantastic and the breakfast is exceptional. Nothing was to much trouble for Martin and Sonia. I definitely consider Sandown to be my number 1 choice for a B&B in Dover!

Nothing was to much trouble for Martin and Sonia. The breakfast was excellent . This guesthouse has just been awarded 4stars silver with Visit Britain and the breakfast award. We will definitely come again soon and also tell all our friends and family where to stay when in Dover.

I have never stayed anywhere that felt as much like home as Sandown does. A group of four of us stayed for one night to catch an early ferry to Dunkirk and we all feel the same way. Martin greeted us with a smile (even though it was raining) as we arrived and he couldn't have been more friendly &... More

We a German family comprising 2 adults and 3 kids spent two nights in Dover at this lovely guesthouse where Sonja offers an excellent service and a cosy and comfortable accommodation meeting the high demands and needs of a family with 3 children. She even let us have a separate 3rd room for our daughter Rebecca to sleep in. She... More

We stayed at Sandown for two nights and agree with the positive reviews from other guests. Sonia and Martin made sure we had everything we needed. Martin kindly dropped us off at the ferry port and gave us lots of good information to help us on the rest of our trip. We definitely recommend Sandown!
