We highly recommend Alkham Court. Wendy and Neil Burrows are the great hosts behind this beautiful Farmhouse. They made our stay one to remember by providing us with delicious breakfasts, freshly baked cakes, and helped us with everything we needed. The 4 rooms are well taken care of and very cozy. The bathrooms are new and spotless. The location is... More

Stayed in the Badger room for a week in August 2014. Though it's been a year ago we still remember our stay with such fondness. The facilities were modern, clean and the stay relaxing, with a lovely hot tub and sauna to look forward to at the end of the day. Wendy and Neil were great hosts, with great knowledge... More

This certainly is a Bed and Breakfast that is a cut above the norm. They supply extras that you would not normally get. When we arrived Wendy got some tea , coffee and cake for us and chatted with us for a while and explained to us the many places that we could go for dinner. Our room was great... More

We stayed in Alkham Court Farmhouse for three days and two nights in August 2015 and felt completely recharged after our stay. The hosts, Wendy and Neil, show exceptional hospitality and have great attention to detail. Wendy is not only a great baker but also cooked us the most delicious breakfasts! She also spent time showing us around and introduced... More

Superb stay in a beautiful location. Wendy and a email were perfect hosts. The breakfast was excellent and incredibly varied. From full English to fresh fruit, cereal, locally sourced produce cooked and presented to an exceptionally high standard. Room for the 4 of us was perfect. A variety of pillows (important for 2 fussy adults and children), plenty of complimentary... More

Alkham Court is set in a beautiful location, is perfectly maintained, has warm and friendly hosts, and serves outstanding locally sourced food. We watched a magnificent sunset in the garden where Wendy served us tea and cake. We will definitely return.

stayed in the garden room, slept like a log, peaceful, not a sound. All details were considered. Breakfast was pleasant, no task to big. The house and garden maintained to an excellent standard. Not only a guest farmhouse but equally a loving home.. Which is evident through out the guest areas. Hot tub a treat.
