Stayed here for a cold week in Jan 16, and was happy with my stay. The hotel is well placed for the attractions of the dock side, and was very handy for where I was working. As you probably noticed from my other reviews, I've stayed in a few Travelodge's, and this one surprised me to have somewhere to eat... More

Stayed here for a night whilst down here on business. (Hint - if you have a Garmin satnav you wont find the hotel listed..... instead look for the Ramada Encore, its the same hotel, with a nme/brandchange) Decent sized room, free parking although the carpark nearest the frontof the hotel fills up quickly. Currently free wifi (which) is always a... More

...pleasant stay all round. Good staff, room clean, and not bad for breakfast considering. Would stay again without a problem. Parking close to the hotel is limited, and it isn't obvious where the rest of the parking is. Some additional signage would help.

Stayed here when it was under another brand. Hope they got rid of laminate bedroom floors as that was bad. Not even heated. Other than the floors, good hotel. Good bathrooms. Large shower. Will have to stay and see how it is now its under a different brand.

My friends booked rooms for guests at this hotel, it has actually changed hands since the booking to travel lodge. I was put off if I am honest not a pretty looking hotel, but a lovely location. Parking wasn't brilliant and the slope access blocked. On arrival I was meet with a cheerful hello and check in was painless, the... More

I booked in to this hotel in April before it became a travel lodge when I arrived there was no warning that there was any renovation work going if I had known I wouldn't have stayed until the Monday I had booked the Monday off working thinking I could sleep in mate but no chance of that as at 8am... Stayed here when it was a Ramada, but now it's a Travelodge. It's cheaper and just as good. Good breakfasts, clean and tidy rooms, comfortable bed, good showers so what's not to like? Parking was ok too. Friendly staff who were keeping cool through the changeover.

Stayed here for a week with work. Very nice hotel with friendly staff and nice breakfast. Only downside I found was the map of the car parks on the Travelodge websitr is not correct and I found there are only 5 car parking spaces outside the hotel. Once they are full you have to park in the over flow car... More

Booked Ramada Encore Chatham through LateRooms in May for late October stay. No one had the courtesy to inform me that it is now a Travelodge. Bit inconvenient when arriving in dark & looking for a Ramada. Seems to be under renovation & short staffed. Hopefully they’ll replace the bed as lumpy & uncomfortable. Card key didn’t work & had...
