I've grown up in the nearby area and have visited this hotel for Christmas functions, weddings etc so I knew a little bit about the hotel to start off with. We were warned it was a little over starred but we needed a hotel for the location and the price as we managed to get a late booking via a... more

Stayed at this hotel one night at the weekend, and it was absolutely lovely. I would have no hesisitations in booking this hotel. Yes, it is perhaps slightly dated but no more so than anywhere else. If you don't normally stay at hotels with pools, spas etc then this really is a nice little treat. The breakfast was perfect..lots of... more

Thank you for your very positive review. I will ensure that the team are copied into your comments. It is refreshing that customers take the time to post great reviews rather than just hear from the negative aspects. Taking the trouble is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

This is no way a 4star hotel. When we 1st arrived it looked good until we got to our room which was ment to be an upgrade to deluxe. We went in and their was an extra bed and cot .The room was extremely dirty especially the bath and there was a glass of water sitting which obviously hadnt been... more

My daughter and I booked this hotel as a Spa Break but we were disapointed with the leisure facilities as the the Jacuzzi was not working and the pool was quite cold and could have been cleaner which made us leave earlier than intended the next morning so the break turned into a 1 day spa break instead of a... more

We stayed for two nights BBD. Our room was of a newer standard, this was a double bedroom with an adjoining double bedroom for the kids. The bathrooms were of a good standard, wired broadband and wifi didn't work, the swimming area was nice and the kids loved swimming for hours. The whirlpool was closed. The food was OK but... more

Thank you for posting your comments. I apologise profusely that the disco music ruined your Friday evening. I will ensure that steps are taken to allocate rooms away from the event suites in future. I hope that we will be able to welcome you and your family back to Bridgewood in the very near future.

Spent Friday and Saturday night at this hotel with my wife while attending a family wedding nearby - sadly disappointed. It needs a major refit and does not deserve it's four star status. Amazed that Q Hotels, who own this hotel, have won "AA chain hotel group of the year 2008-09" perhaps gaffer tape across hallway carpets, noisy plumbing cigarette... more

I spent 2 nights at Bridgewood Manor in Juni with a travel group of 35 people and it turned out to be exactly as the negative reviews on Trip Advisor said. In general, the hotel pretends to be more than it is. The decor is nice, but dated and worn: stains in the carpets, torn wallpaper and worn wooden doors... more

Stayed at this hotel for two nights during visit to the kent area.Dinner was included on first night which was decidedly average and we were glad that we were not paying separately as would of felt shortchanged. Room was comfortable but hotel a little tatty, seems to be set up for conferences/meetings etc, but quite handy for Rochester or Chatham.... more

We stayed here on a spring break package which included 2 nights, breakfast and a three course meal. The hotel is a little bit dated, and possibly needs a makeover. The first room we were offered (room 23 I think) was in dire need of renovation, the sink for example was not even useable, and I am still amazed that... more
