We recently had a lovely stay and was made to feel very welcome. The rooms are nicely furnished, very clean and a the breakfast was just what the doctor ordered. It is located a short walk from the heart of the city and the off street parking was a god send given how busy and expensive the city is to... More

We stayed four nights in the family room. It was great: spacious room, very clean, friendly and helpful owners, free WIFI, free car park, fantastic breakfast with a very wide range of fresh food, great location close to the beautiful city. Thank you very much. It was brilliant.

Fantastic bed and breakfast staff were extremely friendly, brillint facilities, the room were extremely comfortable, very clean and tidy. Very good location just 10-15 mins walk to town. Close to some great pubs etc. Will definitely be staying here again and will be recommending it to my friends and family.

My husband, daughter and I recently spent a very enjoyable few days in Wincheap Guest House. To say that Joe and his staff were very welcoming sounds like a cliché but in this case, it was true. They couldn't have been more helpful. It was our first visit to Canterbury - we were there to help organise our daughter who... More

We stayed here on a last minute trip out of London and were very happy with the B&B The twin room with en suite was spotless and the beds were very comfortable. In the morning, breakfast was delicious and plentiful with a full English and loads of cereals, fruit, youghourt and croissants to choose from and plenty more if you... More

My wife Pam and I have just spent 3 nights at Wincheap Guest House....... Fabulous ! As good as any hotels that we have previously stayed in. We had a lovely spacious double room, with en suite facilities, tea & coffee making tray with biscuits, freeview flat screen TV, free WI FI and a very comfortable bed. We both must... More

Facilities were exactly as you expect in an hotel with tea/coffee making facilities, flat screen TV, Wifi etc and extremely comfortable beds. Breakfast is served in the small dining... More

Our stay at Wincheap was enhanced when we were able to bring our own food back to the house and eat it, along with a beautiful bottle of wine, in the back yard. Joe's garden is a delight. We were able to stay in the family suite, although there was only two of us. Breakfast was a traditional English breakfast... More

This is a well kept establishment and Joe an excellent host. Ground floor room has added advantage of french windows out to courtyard, nice for fresh air and short cut to car. We always enjoy the personal touch you get in B and Bs and enjoyed chatting with Joe. Breakfast was excellent and similarly enjoyed by my vegetarian partner. It's... More

Reviewing a guesthouse can be trivial ... a lot depends off course on the owners mood but also your mindset is important. I like to visit a place more often before reviewing it but this is not always possible. With the Wincheap guesthouse this was our second time and I'm happy to say they lived up to our expectations ...... More
