What a welcome! We arrived at Acacia Lodge after a very 'hot' journey to be greeted with ice creams! Our room was very clean and comfortable and breakfast was excellent. Tam and Mark were the perfect hosts. We were also able to park our car for the duration of our stay which was a huge bonus! We will definitely return... More

A very nicely modernized and comfortable room, and Tam was an excellent and accommodating hostess. Breakfast was excellent. I would certainly stay here again.

We stayed at Acacia Lodge when going to wedding nearby. It was a very brief visit and I had looked at many hotels which were unable to accommodate us. It was then when I looked at Acacia after seeing good reviews on trip advisor. They we extremely accommodating and understanding of our early arrival time. A very friendly couple look... More

I work in the Marketing Department of a large company that organises Study Tours to the UK, and when three of our adult guests found themselves arriving in Canterbury with no-where to stay because of a booking mix-up, Tam and Mark, the proprietors, stepped in to sort them out the same night. Well, it was actually about 1am by the... More

Cannot really add much more than has been written before. My review :- - excellent location - just far enough away that walking back from a meal was welcome - indeed a very friendly and hospitable couple - excellent breakfast cooked to order (very good quality bacon and sausages) - the room we had was small, we only stayed a... We stayed for a weekend in march and were impressed with the friendly atmosphere in this b&b. The location is a short walk from the centre of town and the free parking is very handy. Shower pressure was good and the bed was comfy. The owners really went the extra mile. Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay and intend to return. We parked the car and walked in and out of Canterbury all weekend. The double room was quite cosy but had everything we needed. The breakfast was good but the star feature of the weekend was the wonderful welcome. Thank you Tam - and all the family.

We had a very warm welcome by Tam. The room was lovely and had his own atmosphere. The location is perfect, because you are in walking distance to Canterbury. We received also very good tips from Tam which was very helpful. The breakfast was also very good and presented on a large table together with the other guests (like a... More

This B&B is like a "home from home" and the hosts are two wonderful people. My daughter and I were in a difficult situation and they took us in at short notice and did all they could to help us out with whatever we needed. They made us feel so welcome that I will not hesitate to stay with them... More
