We came here for a couple of nights for a mini honeymoon after our wedding. We received a very warm greeting and they'd even left a bottle of bubbly for us in our bedroom. The bed was exceedingly comfortable and the room was spacious. The cooked breakfast was just the right amount. Last but not least, the location is perfect.... More

Only stayed at the White House for a night but it was a very comfortable and very pleasant stay. The owner was lovely and very accommodating and helpful. The breakfast was excellent too. One of the best things about the hotel is it's location, very close to the city centre. Would definitely consider the hotel for future visits.

We stayed at The White House for 6 nights for our daughter's wedding. The house is beautiful, the rooms sparkling clean, and our host, Adrian, has a wonderful sense of humor and was very helpful. His wife's breakfasts were perfectly cooked, and got our days off to a delicious start. The location is ideal--on a side street, but within a... More

This B&B actually lives up to the 4-star (AA) rating--The beds are super-comfortable, the decorating beautifully done; showers have nice hot water and plenty of water pressure; the breakfast is delicious... Adrian and Sharon have actually earned 5 -stars on the criteria of "Awareness of each guest's needs with nothing being too much trouble". Always helpful, always friendly. And if... More

We had a lovely 2 night stay at The White House. Adrian was such a great host, from a courtesy email and phone call before we arrived, helpful advice on what to do in town, he made our stay easy and enjoyable. The beds are particularly comfortable and the bathroom was immaculate. Delicious breakfast too. Would recommend!

After my friends failed me by not securing me a room at the local Premier Inn I was on a man mission to find a hotel room for the night. I stumbled upon The White House via laterooms.com and snapped the room up after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor – so now I thought I’d give something back and... More

I asked for an early check in of 1pm as I was flying in from the States which was granted without a problem, however the M25 got the better of me and I didn't arrive until three. I called from the car park nearby to ask final directions and then walked to the front door. Adrian met me with a... More

Possibly one of the nicest places I have stayed. For its location, amenities and comfort definitely value for money. Adrian was very friendly giving me a courtesy call a few days before. The room (en suite single) was stylish and lovely with a nice view of Westgate. The breakfast was brilliant (and definitely cured the hangover) and in such a... More

The White House is a superbly located facility that is a short walk from the cathedral, shopping, restaurants and pubs, and the Canterbury West rail station. Host Adrian is genuinely welcoming and incredibly helpful with local advice and recommendations. Our room was spacious, quiet and stylish, with a great bathroom. The bed was large and comfortable. Wifi is free and... More

We know Canterbury is not a Cinque Port but we were catching up with an University Friend whilst in the area to speak. The owner, Adrian reserved our room quickly over the phone en route, and then provided a parking voucher (£6) to park in the Theatre car park during our stay once we had booked in. We stayed in...
