This was a lovely B&B efficiently run. Online booking through their website was straightforward and time of arrival had to be given (between 3 pm and 9 pm). The room had everything required and a very comfortable bed and linen. Breakfast need to be ordered the night before. There was plenty of choice and the cooked breakfast was tasty. There... More

We really appreciated the nice staff in Harriet House. They were really caring and attentive to us, especially during breakfast and regarding sights in and around Canterbury. Moreover, they organised a birthday cake for my boyfriend's birthday at our arrival. The rooms were more than comfortable with wonderful bedding, a small bathroom and a view on Canterbury Cathedral. Overall, we... More

Harriet House is quite simply the best B&B in Canterbury and I cannot commend it highly enough as an ideal place to stay in Canterbury. The owners, Chris and Terry, combine a firmly professional approach with a wonderfully good humoured and personable welcome that makes Harriet House a true home from home. Harriet House is extremely clean, quiet and comfortable... More

My husband and I have just returned from a three night stay at the Harriet. I don't normally write reviews but felt that others should be aware of this little gem. It was very clean great breakfasts and the owners were friendly in a genuine way. It's a short walk from Canterbury centre and would recommend this as it beats... More

I was detained in Canterbury for one night and was lucky to find that Harriet House had one single room still available. The bed and breakfast is immaculate and the owners were extremely friendly and helpful. The room is well equipped and very modern. Cleanliness is fantastic. The breakfast menu is above and beyond and extremely tasty. I have already... More

My mum and I came to Harriet House and we must say it exceeded our expectations! It was wonderfully clean; our hosts were lovely and welcoming; the room was delightful and the choice of breakfast was superb (I recommend the pancakes!) We had a great stay here, and it was in a fabulous location - just a 10 minute walk... More

Great location, very close to the city centre. If you want to go into town, take the riverside walk. It is a very pleasant and quiet path along the river. The owners of the B&B were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, with many choices. And last but not least, the rooms were clean. We would definitely stay here... More

This is a nice guest house with a comfy room, typical somewhat small bath for England, and very pleasant and accomodating hosts. Good breakfast in a pleasant room, or in the sun porch, started the days well. Fine location only minutes walk from the old city and the Cathedral. Well worth the price compared to other locations in the UK... More

This B & B is in a quiet location just 10 minutes walk along the river to town & close to West Canterbury station too. The owners are friendly & welcoming & the breakfast is lovely with ample choice. Our room was very clean & sufficient for our needs. There were only a couple of minor things to point out;... More

We did spend one Night at Harriet b+b. It is a Nice and clean place with a good location. The room we had was Small but cosy, with contemporary design and furniture and Nice viet. To central Cantebury it is a beautiful 10 min riverside walk. Breakfast was lovely and owners Friendly.
