Stayed here the last few days. Great for visiting Canterbury and surrounding area. Just a few minutes walk into town so we were able to get out for a meal and few drinks without having to worry about transport. We also ate in hotel on our last night as it was raining so hard didn't fancy going out. Meal was... More

We had a spacious family room with a large double bed and two singles for which we paid a total of £92.00 for Mon, Tues and Wed. Don't be put off by the corridors etc which need a refurb because the bedrooms have been updated. We were worried about the "first come first served" car park but had no problems... More

This hotel would have been great had it not been for the noise problems. We were in room 5 and from 6.45 am each day there was an almighty banging and clattering from what we decided must have been the kitchen area. We also experienced noise from the room above via creaky floorboards. Had it not been for this our... More

We was staying just for one night as we was going to get a ferry in the morning. We was given a large family room on the first floor. Reception team were really friendly interacting with the children. The room was quite hot but reception gave us a fan. The staff seemed to enjoy there jobs and wanting to go... More

After having a disastrous stay at the Ashford branch we decided to plump for the Canterbury branch as this was no further away from the ferryport than our last visit. Like other reviewers we were very disappointed in the lack of parking and the cost if you managed to bag one. We were using our e vouchers given for our... More

Not impressed you have to pay £5 at the desk to park in the travelodge car park or £7.50 at the ticket machine. Rooms very basic had to ask at the desk for a hair dryer and the corridor we was on and our room smells musty and damp not pleasant, now we know why it was on a £39... More

Good central position in Canterbury. Particularly convenient for the cricket ground. Great rooms and the staff are plentiful and really friendly and helpful. Thoroughly recommended and if you're a cricket fan, it's the perfect place to stay.

Definitely one of the better travel lodges, and in a great location for exploring Canterbury. The rooms were basic but clean and tasteful. My only complaint was wifi! You are given 30 mins free, but to get this you have to upload all your details which I am sure they will then use for advertising purposes. I didn't bother! Can't... More

Stayed for two nights for a friend's wedding in Canterbury. Great location, very central. Parking good value at £5 for 24 hours. Anyone moaning at this needs to get real - that'd get you about 3 hours tops in most city centre car parks. Room on first floor was clean and everything worked fine, was warm but we were provided...
