Stayed at the Canterbury Hotel for 5 nights whilst exploring Kent and it was ideal. Great room and facilities - including indoor swimming pool, free wifi, lovely staff and excellent breakfast. There's a small garden and fish pond next to the breakfast room, as well as a spa, although we didn't try the latter. Only 10 minutes into the city... More

We have just stayed at the hotel for two nights with friends ,the staff and hotel were wonderful .the rooms were clean and comfy and the breakfast was freshly cooked and tasty every morning .the staff couldn't do enough for us even allowing us to sit in the garden for breakfast.the swimming pool was lovely and warm and the steam... Lovely hotel, just outside of the Canterbury CBD, only a 5 minute walk in. The room was nice and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was included which was cooked up fresh for us and VERY tasty. There were vegetarian options for a cooked breakfast and fresh (warm) croissants. My wife was able to get gluten free toast and soy milk. Free wifi... More

This is the second time we've stayed at this hotel. Again the service and staff were very good and accommodating. Lovely breakfast and pool is a real treat for the younger ones that some time feel there's not a lot to do in the evening. This time instead of just staying in the main town we took a walk along... Very friendly staff in a lovely clean and comfortable hotel within a 15 min walk to the historic city centre. We were extremely impressed and enjoyed our stay. Nice bar for an evening drink, lovely outdoor area and swimming pool.

My wife and I stayed two nights with our baby. I'd booked because of the close proximity to the centre of Canterbury, the pool and the option for my wife to have a massage during our stay. We were not dissapointed! The staff were helpful and courteous throughout our stay. Everywhere was clean and smart and the courtyard garden, pool... More

What can I say other than this hotel is very lovely. On arrival we was greeted by a very lovely lady who was very friendly and very helpful. They seem to have everything covered as we was given a map of the city and a few sheets of recommended places to eat. We can Highly recommend Pinocchio's which is an... More

Had a lovely stay here at the end of July, had room 11 in the main building, overlooking the courtyard garden. Friendly staff and spotlessly clean. Excellent breakfast. Pool and sauna was a relaxing addition after a day in Canterbury. Only 'issue' was the traditional style shower which had a fixed head which didn't have great pressure. For a short... More

Wonderful location- a five minute walk to the town centre. This was a great hotel with extremely friendly staff. The breakfast served was excellent; and the hotel grounds (courtyard & pool) were beautiful. The only downside was that there was no air condition- although in fairness there isn't AC in many (if any) Canterbury hotels, and it was a heat... More

The hotel was chosen as it was close the the Canterbury East station where I arrived into Canterbury (10 minute walk). The facade is deceptive as the hotel has had many new additions/conversions and it has a lovely setting for the rooms around a garden pond. It also has a swimming pool but sadly I did not have time enough... More
