Wonderful location- a five minute walk to the town centre. This was a great hotel with extremely friendly staff. The breakfast served was excellent; and the hotel grounds (courtyard & pool) were beautiful. The only downside was that there was no air condition- although in fairness there isn't AC in many (if any) Canterbury hotels, and it was a heat... More

The hotel was chosen as it was close the the Canterbury East station where I arrived into Canterbury (10 minute walk). The facade is deceptive as the hotel has had many new additions/conversions and it has a lovely setting for the rooms around a garden pond. It also has a swimming pool but sadly I did not have time enough... More

Room and hotel was clean, well maintained. Room was hit by a decent fan was provided. Full English breakfast was very tasty. Around 10-15 mins walk from cathedral. Small car park for about 8 cars which is pretty tight. Staff helpful. Thought it was expensive for what is essentially a b&b, but this might just reflect Canterbury generally.

This charming hotel is situated a few minutes walk from the city center. Friendly and helpful staff. A bit too small double bed, but comfortable. Plus for swimmingpool, even though it is small. Very nice garden. Free wifi and parking. Great breakfast make especially for you!

We stayed for 2 nights while we investigated Canterbury. The hotel is centrally located about a 5 minute walk from the centre of Canterbury. Our room overlooked the park opposite & a main road, but was very quiet as well as being large comfortable & clean. The hotel has a secluded garden courtyard, which is a great spot for a... More

When we initially arrived we thought the hotel was a bit dated and dreaded it as the location is not great. Once we had a walk round Canterbury and decided we didn't fancy the restaurants we went back to the hotel and sat in their lovely garden we decided to grab some fish and chips and hang around there. We... More

We arrived from a long haul trip at 12 and was told we could only check in at 3,so needless to say, we were a bit sleepy and unhappy! However, that was the ONLY bad point and it's not a huge problem as it did say check in time was 3pm when we booked it. Now onto the good -... More

Stayed here for two nights following our honeymoon. We stayed in the canterbury suite which was very nice, really comfortable bed and slept very well in it and was clean and tidy and had plenty of space and storage for clothes etc, I can honestly say when it comes to the room there was no downside! Location was fab, was... More

My family and my small dog and I needed to visit a friend who was just leaving Canterbury after studying at the university there for three years. After much research to try to find somewhere pleasant and clean that was prepared to take dogs, I found the Canterbury Hotel and booked the family room. The hotel was up to the... More

The hotel is situated about 10 mins walk from the centre of Canterbury. Our room and the hotel in general was spotless. Had a great treatment in the Rose Garden Spa and every member of staff was helpful, friendly and made us feel really welcome. Good selection for breakfast. Our 2 night break was great value for money - I... More
