Myself and my other half were lucky to be upgraded to one of their newly refurblished bathrooms and everything was perfect! The location was amazing and the staff were brilliant. To top it off the new Marlowe Threatre was open, panto was amazing and we got to mingle with the panto stars such as Stephen Mulhern and some of the...

I stayed for four nights. Comfortable but small single room at rear up two flights of rather steep stairs so not good if you have lots of luggage.
Breakfast not bad but toast a bit tired.
Main problem was very small bathroom with sloping room; avoid room 9 if you are more than 1.7 metres tall!

Hotel is reasonable and clean - however how they manage to operate with the noise from the pub next door till 3am is beyond me. If you want sleep then stay somewhere else!!!!

Perfect spot for exploring Canterbury but the noise from both the road and the hotel guests was tremendous! Breakfast was nice and the staff were helpful and well mannered. Would stay again as long as we could book a room at the back of the hotel

I had to run the shower for a good 10 mins before I got hot water. The bedding was clean but...

Excellent location close to shops and the cathedral. Opposite Marlow Theatre
Good food, good value.

We have stayed here before and since the last time the rooms and dining room have been redecorated. It is well located, although expect some disturbance at the moment if your room is on the front as it is opposite the Marlowe Theatre which is currently being rebuilt. The building is very old and full of character; this can result...
