We really enjoyed our stay. Very clean, warm and recently renovated rooms with great furniture selection. Very helpful and kind owner. Quiet location, near city center in 10" walking distance. There is also a free car parking available and homemade breakfast

Stayed at Canterbury Lodge for two nights whilst visiting the town. It was an excellent choice, just a short walk into town and with ample safe parking. An attractive building both inside and out, well maintained and spotlessly clean. Our room (7) was very spacious with period furniture and a very comfortable kingsized four poster bed, large en-suite and efficient... More

Husband booked this for us after our travel plans altered at relatively short notice. We were incredibly impressed both with the room, the hospitality of the owner and the quality (and amount) of breakfast provided. Lisa made our stay in Canterbury an utter delight. Could not speak highly enough of our room (well fitted out, comfortable four poster bed and... More

We arrived early for our overnight stay but that was no trouble, we were welcomed with a smile. We were given our key and able to leave the car whilst we explored the town, an easy 5 - 10 minute walk away. The room was spacious, comfortable and quiet overlooking the back garden with a modern bathroom,(soft towels). The breakfast... More

This is a nice hotel and our room was lovely just a couple of changes would greatly improve your stay: *Towels are really rough and hard perhaps a touch of fabric softener and 10 mins in a tumble drier to soften and fluff them up *Milk jugs on each table as its a nuisance having to go to the central... Stayed for weekend from Paris. Rooms were very nicely decorated and had everything we needed, bathrooms modern, beds very comfortable. Short walk to the city centre. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lisa, owner worked out how we got to Broadstairs. Also wifi helped in the building. Breakfasts were huge and freshly cooked. Very good value for money, very friendly.

I booked this B&B on the Kent Tourist Board site and was a little disconcerted when I did not get an immediate confirmation. However, all was well and our room at the top of the house had a beautiful view of the Cathedral to the left from the window. The room was spacious and very nicely appointed with a recently... More

We had a reservation and when we got there, we were told that the room had been rented to someone else. The owner said she had waited an hour from the time we were to arrive and when we did not, she rented to someone else. It was commencement week and every place was booked. Our assumption is that she... More

The Canterbury Lodge is situated a bit outside of the city center but still in walking distance of the cathedral (about 15 minutes). Room was rather spacious and beds quite comfortable, WiFi works well. A bit difficult to get luggage up the stairs but still ok. As with many bnb walls are rather thin. Breakfast was fine.
