We spent one night at this beautiful B&B and everything was delightful and very welcoming! The breakfast was excellent and served in this lovely diningroom. Nice, clean and quiet room with great views. Lisa and Sebastian

Highly recommended as a gorgeous place to stay. We stayed in the self catering cottage in March 2014. It was warm, comfy and spotless with everything that you need including a fantastic welcome pack including fresh eggs, butter, home made jam, bread, juice and coffee. Yum. A nice touch were the fresh flowers in the cottage. David is a very... More

We stayed here recently having travelled to Kent for a family funeral. I'd asked for a "late supper on arrival" and expected a bit of soup and bread - we were treated to hearty homemade soup & rolls, with pears poached in red wine to follow - really excellent cooking going on there..as was the case with breakfast. Perfectly poached... More

Chris and Dave are first class hosts, food surroundings and company are second to none. The farmhouse makes for a cosy and sumptuous stay. They even roast their own blends of fresh coffee which we took away with us. Well done both of you can't wait to return!!

We spent three mid week days at Ratling Farmhouse and I would highly recommend giving it a try. With David you have got the perfect host, you get a warm welcome when you arrive and help with your bags and during the stay he would always go the extra mile to make you feel at home. We found that the... More

We stayed at Ratling Farmhouse B&B last September. We can say that home and landlord were amazing. Room was lovely, bathroom very comfortable and breakfast to remember (with mostly local food). Any way, all the interiors are really so pleasantly furnished and decorated: a feast for who (like us) love vintage and antiques. You would not go away. Unfortunately we... More

We have now stayed at Ratling Farmhouse two times and loved every minute of both visits. David is an excellent host and made us feel really welcome. On our most recent trip he greeted us at the door, helped bring the cases up to the room and then made us feel right at home with a welcome pot of tea... More

We hired the self-catering cottage and had a wonderful week. It is beautifully and comfortably furnished, sparkling clean with everything you need supplied, except food but the farm shop down the road has that, and more. Make sure you visit the farm shop as soon as you arrive - you won't believe how lovely it is. Have your breakfast in... More

We stayed here in March 2012 in the cottage (as opposed to the B&B). The location is beautiful and very quiet and tranquil. The farmhouse and cottage are set in beautiful gardens, complete with pond, fruit trees, ducks, chickens and geese. The cottage its self is very cosy, with a high standard of fixtures and fittings. The fully fitted kitchen... More

This is simply the best - in all aspects Ratling Farm House meets or exceeds what you might wish for in a B&B. The farmhouse is lovely, and you are made very welcome. It is clean, comfortable, in an ideal location for visiting east Kent, and your host, David, produces food to die for, much of it being home grown... More
