This review is an honest opinion based on 'value for money', and location for the main purpose of our two day visit. The staff are very helpful , friendly and efficient. We paid £180 for a two night mid week stay. Our room 8 was on the top floor, no lift so the walk up three long steep flight of... More

I stayed with my wife for a short break, which we booked last minute on the hotels own website. We were given a four poster bed for no additional charge, very impressed! The bedroom was very clean, and the bathroom had a whirlpool bath. The pool and jacuzzi are in a log cabin behind the hotel. We had this to... More

We stayed at the ebury for one night this week the positives very comfy beds, lovely gardens and view, plenty of hot water, negatives, tired peeling paint bathroom, bath looked dirty but needed a new surface, no bathroom heating, lack of heating in bedroom had to ask for it to be put on in bedroom and then only on until... We stayed here on Saturday night, excellent parking, which for Canterbury is a bonus, and only a short walk to the city centre. our room (No:8) was a good size double, lovely large shower, no iron or ironing board but there was a trouser press and the usual tea/coffee making facilities, no fridge though. The breakfast, which was included in... More

Stayed for 1 night I room 3 with my wife and daughter. We were greeted with smiles form all the staff and shown to our room personally (something most places sadly no longer do). Located near to the center we walked to the cathedral and back. Dinner was lively and we sat in the lounge playing games (provided by the... More

Stayed here with friends for a 60th birthday. Could not fault anything the owner and his wife were a breath of fresh air, bringing back good of fashioned service and making all our party very welcome indeed. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice. Will stay again in the future.

Very impressive if slightly old hotel on the edge of Canterbury. Plenty of parking and an indoor pool. Very friendly and helpful staff bar meals in the evening but limited tables for evening meals. The room looked very well appointed, first impressions were very good but overtime one noted the tiredness of the decor and the need to repaint in... More

I stayed in the Ebury a week ago and I have been telling everyone since how enjoyable and reasonably priced my stay was. From the moment I arrived I had nothing but great service. When I arrived I was greeted by a very pleasant and helpful young man at reception and was absolutely delighted with my room. Even though I... More

We stayed here so that we could meet up with old friends and visit Canterbury. The location is very good, just turn right and walk for about 10 mins and you get to the city centre. Parking is excellent and it meant a lot to be able to leave the car some where safe and to walk around the city.... More

We stayed for one night in February to visit our nephew who is a university student in Canterbury. We found the hotel a convenient 10 minute walk from the town centre , with ample car parking. The hotel lobby had a classic interior with a lounge , dining room and bar. The children enjoyed the swimming pool and garden. The... More
