Located in the Turing College the rooms were tidy and comfortably furnished - everything seemed to be quite new. It wasn't cosy but functional and on the same hallway there was also a large communal kitchen one could have used. The college is about 30 minutes walk from the centre but buses do run though the way back was a... More

We stayed at the brand new Turing College. Excellent room with TV, fast WiFi, nice bathroom and bag of toiletries. Good evening meals at the Gulbenkian theatre on site. Breakfast in one of the college dining rooms plentiful but not the best we've had. Easy 30 minute walk down into Canterbury to see the town and cathedral - and a... More

The accommodation and dining at Kent is by no means classy but what it lacks in that area it makes up for in convenience. Being so near to the conference facilities was undoubtedly a big draw as the campus is situated at some distance from the centre of town. Unfortunately that meant limited options for eating out without walking for... More

Stayed one night at the Beverley Farm House and very pleased I did. Got a very good deal, which included breakfast. Quite a simple double room with a shared shower room and kitchen between four rooms. Good location as well with a bus stop almost right outside of the door. If you need a simple and cost effective place to... More

Turing college is where I stayed with granddaughter. Excellent accommodation, better than many chain hotel rooms. I would highly recommend this place. Rooms are excellent. Breakfast is a,so very good. The comfort and facilities beat many chain hotels and the bathroom and shower fine

Set in 300 acres near Canterbury, stayed here for a business conference. The facilities were excellent and staff friendly and helpful! Lovely views and surrounding fields, lots of wild rabbits running about!

The room has dirt stains on the carpet, the heater doesnt work, the blankets are thin and there is no spare blanket, and the thing that got to me the most...... There was no hot water at all. I came on business and my options are to either freeze to death in a cold shower or not bath at all... More

Having stayed in university accommodation in London over the past few years I was keen to try the accommodation at Keynes , University of Kent. I was a little wary of the distance from the University to the centre of town, not being in the full flush of youth but I soon discovered that its distance from town added to... More

Stayed at Keynes dormitory for two nights in July 2014. Chose this accommodation as all other B&Bs in Canterbury were booked. No-frills, small, college dorm-like room on south side of building. Extremely hot (>30 °C) with no way to cool (small window could only be partially opened, no cross ventilation as fire alarms sounded when opening doors to kitchen on... More

We're sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your stay. The window restrictor and kitchen door alarm are both required safety features in student accommodation. However if visitors go to reception, our staff will always do their best to provide a fan for use in the room. Buses to the city centre leave every few minutes from the bus... More

Given that this is student accommodation, my stay at Becket Court was excellent. The room was clean and quite big. The bed was not very comfortable, but that didn't prevent me from sleeping well. The breakfast was good as well.
