A terrific B&B near the heart of Canterbury run by the most hospitable Louise who quickly assesses and understands her guests' needs both for in-house and in-the-town attractions/dining. A beautiful, big well-appointed Victorian home with fine rooms.

A fabulous Bed and Breakfast close to the city centre. Rooms were very clean and had everything you could need. Hospitality was fantastic, delicious breakfast- really made our weekend! We will most definitely return.

We needed to stay in Canterbury in an emergency, to visit an ill relative, and didnt want to travel very far to do so.On looking up the area we were to visit came across Augustines B&B.The lady was very polite and very helpful, allowing us to visit early, and park our car in the carpark before our booking in time.As... Good response to booking emails from Louise. Arrived at 12 noon on our first day and our room was ready so we had a full afternoon to get our bearings. Only a 10 minute walk to the town centre. Lovely room on first floor overlooking the garden. Previous review said railway line at back and barking dog, we heard neither.... More

Quick response to emails. Close to town. Good room. Friendly host. Nice breakfast. Parking. We had the first floor overlooking the garden as we like it quiet, but you may as well be on the front as it's a quiet road, and at the back there is a railway line and a dog that barks a lot.

I normally don't write reviews, but I had a great stay at Augustines B&B. Louise is a fantastic host. If you're looking for a place to stay in Canterbury, do it here. She is very good at emailing back. I was able to book accommodation five days before staying there. Can't recommend it more

Augustines was the ideal place for my stay in Canterbury. It is perfectly situated in a very quiet neighbourhood and you can reach High Street and all the Canterbury attractions within minutes. Louise is the perfect host. Even the booking process via email was very pleasant. I had a double room which was very spacious, nicely furnished, tidy and clean... More

I couldn't get over how quiet it was here and only 10/15 minutes walk to the centre of town. Lovely comfortable airy and spacious room with everything you need and a bed to sink into. Perfect! If you like a good breakfast you will not get better anywhere but allow plenty of time to enjoy it all. Louise is a... More

We only spent one night at Augustine's, but Louise couldn't have made us feel more welcome - from tips on where to go in Canterbury, to a lovely breakfast the next morning. All I need to do now is find another reason to go back......

Stayed here on the last May Bank holiday with friends. We had two lovely en suite rooms. Breakfast was good and relaxed. It was a great location to see Canterbury. ..10 minutes walk in to town at the most and parking was available on her drive. The house was on a very quiet road and rooms at the front and... More
