The Falstaff is definitely your place. My parents were visiting over the weekend and we wanted to visit Canterbury. The Falstaff Hotel helps you to get immersed in this incredible city. The hotel has so much history but is very well kept. On top of that the staff are incredibly friendly, which at the end of the day is what... More

Stayed for two nights early August with group of friends on a walking weekend. Very convenient location and very comfortable. Adequate parking, which is very convenient given the location close to centre of the City.

My husband & Istayed for two nights to visit Canterbury for the weekend. A beautiful building with lots of nooks & crannies and history. There are two annexes - the Old Mill and the Tap rooms which are both just across the hotel car park. We had room 49 in the Old Mill which was a spacious comfortable room on... More

My wife and I stayed for one night here. The building is beautiful, the staff are lovely and the breakfast was great. As other reviewers have pointed out the quietest rooms are in the Old Mill and ones facing away from the street as it is on a busy road of which the hotel can do nothing about. We had... More

We stayed at The Falstaff as we were going to the theatre. I requested a room in the Old Mill at the back of the hotel as I had read other reviews on Trip Advisor. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast room was very busy and we did have to wait for a few minutes for a table... More

The staff here were fantastic. So helpful and welcoming - agree with previous reviewers who said nothing was too much trouble for them. Nice atmosphere generally. Breakfast was well organised despite being v busy. Always fresh food being brought out. Perfect location for exploring Canterbury on foot and free parking available for guests. On some summer evenings there is noise... More

Very old building, well looked after, friendly welcoming staff and good buffet breakfast. Very good location with everything you need in the rooms. There is also a free hotel parking lot with lots of space. Made me feel special on my birthday.

Stayed with my French partner as we had been very badly let down by a previously booked hotel.Overbooked,no room at the Inn plus they kept calling the wrong phone number! Still,I found The Falstaff on internet as we decided to break our journey from south-west France travelling north. We had a sweet room overlooking the quaint courtyard at the back.... More
