We stayed one night in the Falstaff Hotel this month. The hotel is divided in a few smaler buildings. The reception is 24/7 and the two receptionists we talked where very kind. They have on site parking wich was stated 10£ a day, but they did not charge us. We had two twin rooms, both with two floors, the bathroom... More

We took the train from home to London then another directly to Canterbury which was so relaxing. On arrival the hotel was literally round the corner! Taking our luggage into storage till. Heck in time the hotel couldn't have been more helpful. A couple of hundred yards walk and we were in the heart of the city, the cathedral and... More

Within easy walking distance of the cathedral and the pedestrian areas, the Falstaff is a good choice. We had a very quiet room at the back and could park our car right outside our room. The room was modestly decorated but the bed was very comfortable. Good, copious breakfast. Very friendly service. In, we found it very good value.

Lovely comfy beds, quilts and pillows, staff very pleasant and helpful. They even looked after our bags a couple of days after checkout so we could catch the euro star later in the day. Although building and renovation going on, we were able to access all parts of Canterbury and tourist sites.

We stayed here for two nights in May. Breakfast was lovely, buffet style with lots of options and the staff were very friendly. Reception were really nice on arrival, really helpful and offered great advice for evening meals. We had a room in the main building, which was clean albeit a little small as in the "turret" area of the... More

I stayed at this hotel for one night for a business trip. The location is very good and the building very pretty and quaint. My room was basic but nice. Huge bed and good TV. My breakfast was also very nice. The reason this got average rather than good was down to a few things. There were building works that... More

The hotel is not really a hotel but more of a B&B with no facilities one would expect from a hotel....lobby, bar, restaurant etc. It is being re-built currently with scaffolding on the front, no front entrance and a small reception at the rear. The room was fine. Parking is totally inadequate with limited spaces on a first come basis.... More

I booked my stay before reading through the reviews. I was then a little worried, as some sounded rather poor. However, once at the hotel, I was pleasantly surprised. No problems at all, food was good, cleanliness was great, staff were fantastic. I also met the "Cheery lady" mentioned in a previous review, and also have to agree, a friendly... More
