Although it is not in the main high street I would not stay anywhere else now. I have visited Canterbury many times this hotel is the most friendly. Clean and tidy as well as being warm. Location is 10 min walk from the shops but loads to see while walking to them. Canterbury has loads to see. St Thomas's RC... More

We just had a coffee and it was served with biscuits. Reasonable hotel value. Probably a nice and quiet place to get away from noisy students and teenagers. Comfortable seating, 10.10 cosy factor. Service - they didn't clear up the plates quickly, but that's not the end of the world as they weren't intrusive. Nice place for friends to meet... More

We stayed here for our visit to Canterbury. The hotel is ideally located for a visit to this part of the world. Minutes walk from the cathedral, with loads of shops and restaurants close by. Clean rooms, with a wonderful breakfast. Helpful staff.

The location of this hotel is perfect. A short walk into the the walls, parking on premises, easy access to trains. The staff was great very helpful and understanding Two rooms: we booked a room which I guess was the economy room. I was disappointed when I saw it but would have stayed except we had no Internet. As we... More

There was a large group of us staying for one or two nights, at the hotel, to attend a wedding reception at a nearby venue. The staff and service was superb..... nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend this hotel for any type of stay. Just be careful when parking your car in the car park for the... More

The hotel is ideally situated for visiting Canterbury and surrounding area. The rooms at the rear of the hotel are very quiet but the rooms are not as old as the main hotel. Being nosey I had a look around the main part which had very creaky floor boards which I think would of disturbed me if I had been... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for your recent stay with us and also for your feedback which we are always grateful to receive. Being a city centre hotel there are often the usual external noises to contend with such as traffic and visitors passing by. We have found however that since the re-development of St Dunstans Street which has moved traffic... More

What can I say, this hotel was wonderful. The atmosphere, location, decor and friendliness of the staff all rate A+. My husband and I stayed two nights in Canterbury and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is extremely well placed for city sightseeing. The rooms were very comfortable with a classy but relaxed feel. The hotel kept true to its origins of... More

My Husband, myself and our young son recently stayed at the Falstaff for one night and found it ticked all the boxes you would hope for. Our room, on the ground floor to the rear, was spacious even with the extra z bed and was attractively decorated and faultlessly clean. There was just a little noise outside as some guests... More
