This bar / hotel looks recently refurbished. It tick all the boxes. Part bar / part restaurant and is cosy and inviting. We stayed 1 night in the Friar Room and the views over the old water ways were beautiful. Room was cost and the underfloor heating in the bathroom was a nice touch. The shower pressure was a bit... This was a good hotel to stay for a few days in Canterbury, brilliantly located just a few minutes walk from the Canterbury west railway station (and not all that much further from Canterbury East) and within easy walking distance of the main sights. And there was a delightful view of the cathedral from our window. The room though was... More

We have stayed in the Millers Arms a few times when we have visited Canterbury. It is a nice pub with rooms a short walk from the centre of Canterbury. They do not have parking but will sell you a 24 hour permit for the carpark across the road. We usually stay in the Millers Room. It used to have... More

Stayed for 1 night, 11th May 2015. Great little find. Good value for money. Right in the heart of the city. Only steps from many places to eat and all of the good sites. Local walks also good along the river bank. Peaceful and therapeutic, the sound of the running water across the road as you sit out in the... More

The staff are polite, attentive and friendly. The location is very convenient to the train station and to downtown Canterbury for sightseeing. A lift to the sleeping room would have been convenient, but it's an old building. Pack light. The accommodation has some problems. Despite the mild weather, the room was very hot and would not cool down with windows... More

We stayed here over the bank holiday weekend, two nights. The rooms are small but very comfortable. It looked as though it had just been redecorated thru out, it was spotless and beautifully done. The staff are happy helpful people. The breakfast was excellent. ( plenty choices) the location is perfect. A one minute stroll into the centre. Lots of... More

Stayed 2 nights. Very welcoming and staff helpful. Rooms very good and spotlessly clean. Breakfast on day 2 not quite as good as day 1 but still very nice. Good food selection and included in price. Location great being only a few minutes walk from everything!

Old coaching inn, central position in city, parking across the road. Staff excellent, helpful. The Prioress room (No.12) v. good for the type of hotel this is i.e. not ultra modern. Room clean and well maintained. This room located to rear so very quiet. The double bed is relatively small and upsizing the bed, there is room, would be helpful.... More

My stay in the Millers Arms was a lovely experience and I will definitely stay again when I visit my son who is at the University of Kent. All the staff in both the pub and restaurant were extremely friendly and helpful. The pub is located in a very attractive area close to the river and is only a few... More
