I was dissappointed with our visit to the Miller's Arms, after reading so many glowing reviews on this website. I had cancelled a booking at another hotel because of the comments about it on this website. We thought the Miller's Arms needed a good clean and was a little rundown, Our room the Miller's tale, which has the four poster... more

On the good side for Miller’s Arms, it is located only minutes from the Cathedral. A parking pass for 24 hours in a fairly close public lot can be purchased for 5 pounds. We arrived and after going into the pub to sign in we were shown to our room upstairs, down a very narrow hallway. Although the carpet and... more

I took my girlfriend here for our anniversary. I wanted to see Canterbury but wanted to make the accomodation quite a big feature of the weekend as well. As it was a romantic weekend, I rang the hotel in advance and they arranged flowers and a bottle of wine in the room for when we arrived - I was grateful... more

The hotel is located very near to station with a very good scenic beauty around. The hotel rooms are clean and the staff very friendly. I would recommed this hotel if you are not planning to spend more or have a plan to stay in 5 star. The rooms are not too big but clean and from some roons you... more

Staying at the Millers Arms you get a real taste of Canterbury - all the rooms are named after the famous Canterbury Tales and are beautifully presented. The staff were very friendly and helpful, while the food was excellent and great value for the quality. Town is barely 5 minutes away, making the hotel in the perfect situation for everyone... more

The Millers Arms is the picture perfect English hotel, beautiful location set by the River, overlooking a lovely garden. Nothing was too much trouble for the manager and his staff. The room was a good size with plenty of cupboard and drawer space. Bathroom was beautifully decorated and the shower was fantastic! Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Had dinner in... more

Spent a night at the Millers Arms, arriving Saturday and leaving on Sunday. Received a very warm welcome from Declan who had only been there for a few weeks. Booked into the Millers Tale which has a four poster and has a lovely aspect over the river. Although you can hear the rushing water we found it an ideal place... more

This charming real ale pub has eleven fresh, cheerful, spotless rooms which seem newly and quite charmingly renovated and furnished. Street side rooms are fairly quiet, facing a beautiful weir and landscaped gardens. Rooms at the back have no traffic noise though you may hear people chatting in the beer garden until 11pm. 'The wife of bath's tale' room had... more

I have just returned form a two night break in Canterbury with colleagues for an end of term shopping trip. We really liked the place! Friendly staff, clean, comfortable rooms - the one I was in had a view of the cathedral out of one window and a river out of the other - a good range of Fairtrade tea,... more

We stayed one night and having arrived at lunchtime began by eating there, which was excellent. We parked in the St Radigunds pay and display car park over the road, for which we had a £5 voucher from the hotel, which lasted 24hours. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was fine (the Knight's Tale) as was the... more
