A quick overnight stay before heading off to Europe this place did just the trick. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was perfectly functional and clean. I had lived in Canterbury previously for 9 years and thought I might be difficult to please but the Millers did not disappoint. Eating in the restaurant was pleasant enough... More

This is a lovely hotel close to the centre of Canterbury. I chose a double room as it was the same price as a single, it would have been a bit small for 2 for more than a couple of nights. It was clean and nicely decorated. The shower lacked much water pressure. Breakfast was lovely with good choice and... More

We had a one night getaway on a Monday to see Canterbury and the cathedral. This turned out to be a great choice. We found in via various on-line searches and it did not disappoint. On the map it looked like it was a bit out of town, and it was away from a lot of the tourist traffic. Still,... More

I walked into Millers Arms after another hotel lost my reservation, and wow, what a happy turn of circumstance! Paul and his wife were so very accommodating, roundly meeting my expectations and more. The room I was given turned out to have a plumbing problem but no worries––I was given the big, beautiful suite at the end of the hall... More

We stayed at The Millers Arms for one night as a dinner, bed and breakfast package given as a present by our son (Red Letter Day). We chose Canterbury as we hadn't been there for over 30 years and we very much enjoyed looking around. The room (Millers - No.7) was large with a sofa and at the front of... More

On check-in, not only were we asked to pay £315 upfront for three nights already secured with a credit card, we then discovered it was not possible to split the bill between us if we paid by card - apparently the Shepherd Neame accounting system cannot manage this routine transaction. To get round the problem, one of us had to... More

The room was clean and looked recently redecorated and the efficient shower perfect after a hot day. Beds very comfortable. On the hottest day of the year the room on the top floor was warm but windows facing front and rear helped create a cooling breeze. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast excellent including a vegetarian cooked... More

I was booked into this pub as accomodation whilst doing a weekend genealogy course nearby. The rooms were excellent, very clean and well presented. I only had my breakfast at this establishment but found the food to be excellent, the staff were excellent, very polite and helpful. I have no reservations in recommending this as a place to stay in... More
