Went there for a couple of nights, room was very nice, service friendly and breakfast always good. We also enjoyed the pub at night. Nice place to spend some quiet and chilled time. Will stay there again for sure next time we visit.

We stayed for a weekend to explore Canterbury. The hotel is well located in 5-10 minutes walking distance from the train station and only 5 minutes from the center of Canterbury and the Cathedral in a quiet neighborhood. Though it is together with a pub, the nights are quiet. The room was small but well equipped, clean and comfortable with... More

I spent 2 nights in this hotel on a little break. What a nice place. The squires room was tidy, clean and comfortable; the decor was really nice and the staff were excellent. The room had everything you needed.... and everything worked. My only little moan - which is little, is the shower needs a bit of a power addition... More

We recently stayed for a night at the Millers Arms in Canterbury, paying £100 for one of their premium rooms, which was large with a good sized bed and was clean and comfortable. Despite being on the front of the house there was very little noise from the road during the night. A disappointment was that the bathroom had a... More

I've stayed in many hotels in Canterbury often paying a lot more than here and to be honest most don't come close in terms of quality. Ok the rooms aren't big, but they are clean and comfortable. It's located close to the city centre so there's plenty of places to eat if you want to wander out. Breakfast is very... More

Booked in for 1 night last Saturday with friends and had a great stay. Very welcoming and friendly, the rooms are excellent. Clean and quite spacious for such an old building. Breakfast was good, but the main menu is a little lacking in variety. Would stay again, but might eat elsewhere.

I recently stayed here for one night with my husband, brother and his girlfriend, to attend a comedy gig at the Marlowe. The location is perfect; it was less than five minutes walk to the Marlowe, and the high street with all its shops and restaurants etc. The perfect base to be close to town without being right in the... Stayed for 4 nights at this hotel...Room is incredibly small, only 1 meter room around the bed.Bathroom shower mixer valve didn't work, told the reception,no fixing.Next morning, the owner itself, looked surprised,no excuses,no appologies.Very bad attitude.Late night customers at the pub below are very noisy, can't rest untill they gone.Cleaning lady had to come lately, never return for that day.I would never return to stay in... Only stayed one night for a whilstle-stop tour of the town and cathedral. Warm welcome on arrival and advised that we could park across the road in a huge car park for a discounted rate. (ask at reception for a voucher before parking and paying yourself). Quick check-in and then shown to our room, we were on the top floor... More

Overnight stay - picturesque location with stream/river out front just a few mins walk into town centre - clean room everything in good condition, didn't like fixed overhead shower, I prefer a removable shower attachment - nice breakfast - friendly staff. Asked for a quiet room but got one overlooking the yard & outdoor patio area so was disturbed by... More
