Stayed here for one night as a base for visiting my future university, to get a feel for Canterbury prior to moving there in a few weeks time, and for catching a few of the tourist sites in between. We arrived well before the allowed check in time, but were allowed to leave our bags, making it much easier for... More

This time I wasn't there only for having a wonderful dinner, I also stayed there for two nights. The Millers Arms is the best place to stay, if you want to explore lovely Canterbury and Kent. The rooms are nice and clean and the atmosphere in this old building is something special. The staff is very friendly and the offered... More

Having not lived in the UK for sometime I went back to meet up with old friends, so we decided to all meet up in Canterbury, so I started looking for a place where I hang my hat for the night, and I found this lovely little english pub that had rooms, although the room was small it was clean... Oh dear is there something about these birthday treats offered by Shepherd Neame. The last pub we went to, it sold out of date beer and today was not a great experience either. We received a letter from Shepherd Neame that offers BOGOF on birthday meals in their pubs. As we were on Canterbury, we thought that it would be... More

We have been to Canterbury many times over the past few years as our son was at the University of Kent, but this is the first time we stayed overnight and we couldn't have chosen a better B&B. The pub is a short stroll from the city centre and across the road from a big public car park - it's... More

Our stay started badly with a requirement that we pay for our 2 day stay on arrival. To me this signals that a) They don't trust me not to run off without paying or b) They expect me to be so dissatisfied that I wont want to pay. Neither message is a very positive start! The room suffered from noise... More

Being not averse to partaking in a few pints of an evening, the idea of a pub with decent standard rooms was appealing. Not cheap, but Canterbury isn't. Rooms nicely done, good quality, bathroom spotless. Very pleasant, plentiful breakfast. Handy car park over the road. 5 min stroll along the river to the Marlowe Theatre and main drag. Will definitely... More

Pleasant surroundings good service and well presented reasonably priced Sunday lunch . Wish the chef could improve the roast potatoes but apart from that let down good sized portions offering competitive vfm .

Our party, composed of our two children, their partners and ourselves, spent one night at the Millers Arms at the beginning of June. The rooms all had pleasant views, either of the cathedral or of the millrace and the small park opposite. The rooms were relatively small with extremely comfortable beds, cupboards, dressing table and TV. The bedroom and the... More

This is a nice pub with a good selection of Ales and a good lunch menu. Surprisingly spacious and well worth a visit. Four of us went and had a good lunch. There is a small beer garden at the rear for those that need to sit outdoors...
