This hotel is perfectly situated and the staff were very polite and helpful. Lovely breakfast and the room was perfect, just what we wanted for our short stay. The price was very reasonable and it was handy buying the parking voucher for the car park opposite. The only criticism would be that the bathroom extractor fan in our room and... More

This was the 3rd time we stayed there on our Christmas shopping trip to Canterbury. In the past the rooms were very small and very very hot, you couldn't turn the radiator off and the taps in the bathroom didn't work very well. Now a modern room with a very good bathroom. The only thing I didn't like was the... More

For a visit to Canterbury, the Millers Arms is well worth a try. Close to the centre of town but still in a quiet backwater. The staff are friendly and helpful and the hotel is very comfortable. This will be my first choice for further visits to Canterbury.

Comfortable, clean, stylish and friendly. A great location for anyone wanting to explore the city or chill in great surroundings. We will definitely be returning! Thank you to the staff for making New Years eve perfect.

We booked The Millers after a previous visit to Canterbury, Firstly, the staff are really, really good, very friendly, polite and genuinely nice. The pub/restaurant side of things is very welcoming and cosy, great decor. The rooms ( we stayed in the Reeve room) have been been newly refurbed by the look of things and we were very surprised at the quality of the... The Miller's Arms is one of those rare gems - an olde worlde (1826) English pub-hotel that doesn't smell of stale beer and greasy chips. Its recently refurbished bedrooms are smart, cosy and stylish, with cream painted furniture, sparkling white linens, rain showers, and free wifi. The menu is contemporary and interesting and the food delicious - I recommend the... More

Stayed for a night in a small very well appointed room including the fluffiest towels ever. Staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfast was very good. A pleasant stroll into town took five minutes. Will definitely come back when in that part of the country.

Great for an overnight stay. The breakfast was excellent with lots of up-market choices. The room was comfortable, clean and well appointed, but the bed was too hard for me to sleep well. I had a room above the kitchen and that was a little noisy in the morning, so avoid this one if you are a light sleeper and... More

Having seen a poor review the day before we arrived, we were a bit apprehensive. However, absolutely no problems. Polite staff, excellent room and food, beer was great too. We would definitely stay there again.
