We booked The Millers after a previous visit to Canterbury, Firstly, the staff are really, really good, very friendly, polite and genuinely nice. The pub/restaurant side of things is very welcoming and cosy, great decor. The rooms ( we stayed in the Reeve room) have been been newly refurbed by the look of things and we were very surprised at the quality of the... The Miller's Arms is one of those rare gems - an olde worlde (1826) English pub-hotel that doesn't smell of stale beer and greasy chips. Its recently refurbished bedrooms are smart, cosy and stylish, with cream painted furniture, sparkling white linens, rain showers, and free wifi. The menu is contemporary and interesting and the food delicious - I recommend the... More

Stayed for a night in a small very well appointed room including the fluffiest towels ever. Staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfast was very good. A pleasant stroll into town took five minutes. Will definitely come back when in that part of the country.

Great for an overnight stay. The breakfast was excellent with lots of up-market choices. The room was comfortable, clean and well appointed, but the bed was too hard for me to sleep well. I had a room above the kitchen and that was a little noisy in the morning, so avoid this one if you are a light sleeper and... More

Having seen a poor review the day before we arrived, we were a bit apprehensive. However, absolutely no problems. Polite staff, excellent room and food, beer was great too. We would definitely stay there again.

Small hotel ran in a laid back atmosphere. Rooms are small, but are very clean and well decorated. Nice bathrooms. I also very much enjoyed the pub they have at the street level, good food and good service. They also brew their own beers!

Should you be planning an evening drink at this bar, please bear in mind the possibility of dealing with rude staff. Have been a regularly returning customer (that ends tonight!!!) and this is the second time I have encountered bar staff who quite frankly treat customers with contempt. You'd think at £7+ for a glass of red they'd try a... More

Went there for a couple of nights, room was very nice, service friendly and breakfast always good. We also enjoyed the pub at night. Nice place to spend some quiet and chilled time. Will stay there again for sure next time we visit.

We stayed for a weekend to explore Canterbury. The hotel is well located in 5-10 minutes walking distance from the train station and only 5 minutes from the center of Canterbury and the Cathedral in a quiet neighborhood. Though it is together with a pub, the nights are quiet. The room was small but well equipped, clean and comfortable with... More

I spent 2 nights in this hotel on a little break. What a nice place. The squires room was tidy, clean and comfortable; the decor was really nice and the staff were excellent. The room had everything you needed.... and everything worked. My only little moan - which is little, is the shower needs a bit of a power addition... More
