I booked Peregrine House in a rush and wanted to be in Canterbury City centre. Hotels there are at a premium and the £120 for a double room was the cheapest on offer for the city centre. It is a "stand alone" annexe of Castle House Hotel and does not have any staff apart from in the mornings when there... More

Arrived at reception at castle hotel to pick keys up for the B and B just a short walk away, receptionist was very polite and friendly. Our room was amazing, clean, comfy and beautiful, was pleasantly surprised to have an ensuite with a bath. The selection of hot drinks laid included hot chocolate with some shortbread, that pretty much won... More

I stayed in a single room at the Peregrine Hotel for two nights in late July this year while I was working in Canterbury. The one big plus for me was the location, so any other gripes beyond that are not really that important, but still, I wasn't very impressed as the price tag did not match the quality. What... More

We decided to take a risk on Peregrine House despite the average reviews and we're so glad we did! The double room was a great size and seemed brand new! The bed was probably the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in - we didn't want to get up! Despite the bars and clubs around we found that the double... More

Positives: Central location. Clean. Shower that worked. Negatives: Thought I was staying at the Castle but was given a key for the Peregrine at 1 in the morning and told to let myself in once I finally found the place. No reception. Front door to building and Bedroom door was the same Key-sounds dangerous!! Tiny room at the top of... More

We spontaneously decided to visit Canterbury and hoped to stay at the Castle House Hotel on recommendation of family members who had stayed a few months before. Unfortunately, the hotel was fully booked, but luckily could offer us a room at their sister B&B located in the heart of Canterbury. The guest house was a four-minute walk to the Cathedral... More

We booked at the Peregrine the night before arriving in Cantebury. We expected a small and simple room but were extremely surprised and pleased to find such a big, bright and clean room with a huge bed, and great facilities. We had a really comfortable stay and the location couldn't have been better. We were able to enjoy a yummy... More

The most important factor for us in a hotel room is cleanliness and this one was spotlessly clean. The location was superb. We were pleasantly surprised that we were allowed to park immediately outside in the one space available. Bonus! The staff were all friendly and efficient. Thank you. We will return.

On arrival at Peregrine House, We collected our key from a sister hotel advertised as a mere "5 minute walk" from peregrine house. 15mins Later we arrived at the hotel, and checked in. Upon arrival at the house, My partner had a shower. During his shower, the water went from an average temperature to scalding hot, leaving scalding red marks... More
