Sandra and David were wonderful hosts, doing everything to make our group of nine - mostly elderly people - happy. The cooked breakfast was excellent, the rooms spotlessly clean and the beds very comfortable.

Nice location and service. Unfortunately the rooms ware very small and the toilets even smaller... The curtains in one of the two rooms that we booked were broken and we couldnt close them easily. The breakfast was very good. Also the guest house was very clean.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your 4 night stay with us. We’re happy that you rated us so highly on location, service, breakfast and cleanliness. On the other hand, we are disappointed to hear that you thought the rooms in which you stayed, and their en-suites, were small. The bathrooms in these particular rooms may... More

Our family of three stayed here in late June of 2014. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Clean, comfortable, very nicely located. The breakfast was very good, if a little standard. Would definitely stay again.

We used St Stephens guest house when attending a wedding at Canterbury cathedral. The b&b is very well located, a short 10 min walk to the cathedral. Extremely welcoming hosts (a husband and wife team). Room was clean and fresh. Great budget option.

We stayed 5 nights and it was a lovely stay. Sandra and David are very welcoming and helpful about where to go, how to get there, etc. The room was comfortable and clean and had everything we needed, and despite the seemingly noisy location off the roundabout couldn't here a thing. And there's a lovely 15 minute walk by the... More

Regarding the shower in the room where you stayed, we're sorry to hear that it may not have met your expectations. Our en-suites have a mixture of baths with showers above and power... More

Sandra and Dave are very welcoming and helpful. The guest house offers on site parking and it is an easy 20 minutes walk through a park to get to the centre of Canterbury so this is an ideal location. It seems like a busy spot, just off a round-a-bout, but our room was very quiet. The room is small but... More

We spent 1 night here. The family is friendly and accommodating. The room was perfect, good wifi, new linens, and very clean and quiet. A full English breakfast cooked to order. Plenty of free parking. It is just a short walk to city center. We'd definitely stay here again

We spent 2 nights there during the Easter break, clean room and en-suite. We picked the room on the back so really quiet apart from the services of the adjoining rooms sometimes a bit noisy...the building itself is a nice period cottage like those you find scattered in the city centre with nice garden and above all nice people running... This is a perfect place to stay for quick access to the town and as a base to explore in and around the Canterbury area. Only 5 mins from the station, and if you do have a car, there is ample parking behind the guest house. The rooms are really clean, and I mean REALLY! Modern fixtures and fittings and... More
