This B&B is centrally located so makes exploring the town relatively easy. The hotel room was clean, although a little bit old.the shared bathrooms were clean enough, however the shower was not very powerful at all.The breakfast was adequate. Overall a good choice for anyone looking to stay centrally on a budget

We stayed here for two nights when attending our daughter's graduation. It's a lovely guest house, with an excellent location right in Canterbury centre, yet was very quiet. Free parking and within walking distance to all amenities. We stayed in room 6 (the family room) which was fab and it had its own loo and sink (rooms are not en... More

Like the last reviewer , I too spent ages looking online for a decent place to stay close enough to get to the city centre without getting a taxi. Well this place is ideal Easy to get to, FREE parking out the back, literally 2 mins walk and your in one of the main streets, probably only 10mins walk to... More

My fiancé and I stayed here last weekend for 1 night, we spent ages looking at hotels online and were a little reluctant to try a b&b as we had both never stayed in one before. The hotels in the area were all priced at around £70 and did not include breakfast or parking and St Johns offered both for... More

When you are looking for an affordable Bed & Breakfast in Canterbury, UK, then St.Johns Court Guest House is a good choice. Situated in the heart of this delightful city, and yet a parking place at the back of the house. Clean rooms, good breakfast. A little warning: one must be able to handle the sense of humor of the... The first thing you notice is how close you are to the city centre. The parking is through the middle of the building in an enclosed courtyard. We had to ring the door bell on the left side of the archway (it's not clearly marked how to get the owners attention, and it's best to ring both door bells as... More

Lovely clean room with parking right in the centre of Canterbury. Yes, the owner is a bit of a character, but as long as you are patient and polite, she is full of useful information and did not mind repeating instructions on how to get somewhere, even through we asked several times! (My sense of direction is poor, to say... More

I stayed here for two nights whilst working in Canterbury. The room was comfortable, spotlessly clean, the bed was comfortable (not too soft) and the linen was fresh. My room (room 2) looked out onto the courtyard at the back and was not en suite but that really didn't bother me as there are many toilets and showers available in... More

Stayed here in March 2013 in a lovely single room (room 2) with a nice view across the courtyard. The location is excellenct - it only takes five minutes to walk to the centre. yes, there are some rules of behaviour you are introduced to, but Liz is, nevertheless, very welcoming and helpful. Even when I had problems with my... More
