Very nice B&B. Clean/spacious rooms and ours had a private garden as well. Great breakfast options for vegetarians as well, and just a short 10 min walk form the city centre. We will definitely stay again. Thank you Amanda for the hospitality.

Firstly, the location is great, ten minutes' walk from Canterbury East railway station and ten minutes' walk from the city centre. The room we stayed in (St Peter) was spacious and nicely decorated. A velux window gave a lovely view across the city. Amanda herself was friendly, accommodating and the perfect host. And her breakfasts were very nice. It was... More

It was a pleasure staying at Amanda House which felt like a home from home! Our room provided great facilities, was clean, comfortable and spacious . Conveniently located close to the city centre, it meant we could explore Canterbury at our leisure. Breakfast choices were excellent and our host Amanda was very customer focussed. We recommend Amanda House unreservedly.

Very nice B&B. Clean and spacious room. Room had a large flat screen TV mounted on the wall which we really enjoyed. Nice bathroom with a great shower. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast was great with cereals, coffeee and full english breakfast. Located very close to city center. Amanda was very nice and gracious. Highly recommended.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights whilst visiting Canterbury. We managed to get a parking space outside the guest house, but there is a fair bit of on-street parking too. Excellent location - about 15-20 mins walk to town depending on how quick you walk or a £4.50-ish taxi ride. The breakfast choices were excellent and all... More

We have just returned from a lovely stay here. Amanda is the perfect host, friendly and helpful. The room we had, Canterbury tales was lovely, with its own courtyard garden. Everything has been thought of you could possibly need. Very well decorated, comfy bed, great shower, fridge, safe, hair dryer, tea and coffee, and spotlessly clean. There is a great... More

My husband and I recently spent two nights at Amanda House and found our room excellent. We had the room with the private patio which was very pleasant. The large ensuite facilities were above the normal standard and the use of the guest kitchen was extremely useful and had every amenity. This proved for us a real bonus as we... More

My daughter and I stayed at Amanda House for four nights this summer. The location is excellent, near the old city walls, a short walk or taxi ride to Canterbury Cathedral and other sites. The local bus stop is a few feet from the B&B and goes to the city center. There is off street parking and free wifi. The room... More

My wife and I stayed at the Amanda House for a long weekend break in Canterbury. The stay was an enjoyable one and I rate the place as very good.
