We enjoyed an excellent stay in this delightful B&B. The small things such as fresh milk and daily treats in the room were a nice touch as was the well stocked honesty bar. The main rooms are in the lovely old house which is located on the road near a railway level crossing so a little road noise in the... More

Really enjoyed our one night stay. Very conveniently located with just a short walk to the city centre. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was good. Our room was accessed by an outside staircase and was clean and comfortable. We would return.

Good location to explore Canterbury. Lovely to sit in the gardens with a drink to relax after a day of walking. We stayed in one of the outside rooms, although small was comfortable. The staff all friendly and helpful.

This place is impressive!!! The building itself is beautiful and the garden is lovely! Each rook has a different theme-we stayed in the very romantic Paris room. The staff and owner were very friendly, the breakfast was great and the honesty bar is a nice touch. I would definitely recommend this place!!

Within a few hundred yards level walk of the City Centre past Westgate tower, a lovely old reception building with accomodation blocks housed in the rear gardens. Free on site parking but it is a bit of a tight squeeze for a car to access. Good hot breakfast and reception is in the ancient main building, with a good little... More

Wow! What a great place to stay! All of the staff couldn't do enough for us. The breakfast was lovely and our room (The Paris room) was beautiful. Thank you for making our stay in Canterbury that extra bit more special. We will definitely be going back.

We stayed in one of the new rooms which had comfortable beds and a good bathroom but was tight on space. Backing onto the train tracks wasn't a problem. House of Agnes is very well located, near the river and the West Gate and just a few blocks from the Cathedral. Breakfast was very good and the service fine.

Once we got through a very narrow drive way into the hotel grounds we were pleasantly surprised. Our room was in the back not part of the main hotel. I believe there are theme rooms in the main hotel and it is probably quite different .There is a train that goes by behind the room but we had no problem... More
