I just want to say thankyou so much to Sandie and staff for making my two days very special. I stayed in the Paris room which was absolutely amazing. Beautiful bathroom and room. Bed was so cosy. Will definitely be back. The breakfast was fantastic with so much choice. I wish i had tried the cooked breakfast. Seeing it served... More

My husband booked here for a surprise Valentine's weekend, and what a treat. We were booked into the Venice room which was lovely with French doors opening out onto the garden. We had a spa bath in our actual room and I mean open plan (so maybe not to everyone's liking) but we loved it. The room was clean, comfy bed with... More

Tucked away near Canterbury West train station is the House of Agnes hotel. To drive through the old coaching arch to the free car park is an art if you have a wide car! The accommodation is very comfortable with a superb heating system and comfortable beds. If you are in the stable block you are very close to the... More

Had a super couple of nights at the house of Agnes and loved it - would have liked to stay longer. Beautiful, comfortable rooms, welcoming and helpful staff and fantastic location! Would thoroughly recommend.

Great hotel / B&B, very welcoming proprietor, extremely comfortable rooms, excellent breakfasts and all mod cons despite the age and history of the building. Located just very short walk the centre of the city the hotel was the perfect base for a couple of days exploration of Canterbury. Highly recommended to anyone looking for comfort & convenience

We have stayed 4 times at House of Agnes and every time it remains the same brilliant quality! Nothing is too much for the staff, they are always friendly and accommodating and it feels like a home from home! The breakfasts are fresh and lovely and the honesty bar is so well priced that you won't want, or need, to... More

The location is perfect, just a short walk from both the station and the main street. The building itself is historic and really quirky. I was warmly welcomed by the house keeper who gave me a detailed tour of the facilities. I asked for a twin room as I was sharing with a friend, but they'd upgraded the room to... More

This hotel ticked the box in every instance for a great 2 night stay. This was a birthday present for my mother-in-law and we had adjoining rooms in the old stables. Fine furnishing, comfy bed and bedding, a fantastic breakfast. To top all that off, the staff were great. I would definately like to go back again and will do... More

The roms are small but clean and there is everything there that you need for a short stay. The bed was so deed illy comfortably with fluffy feather duvet and soft pillows.
