My husband and I stayed for three nights at the House of Agnes and we were made to feel welcome from the minute we arrived. The B&B is a short walk from Canterbury West Station and the City Centre. We were welcomed by Steve and although our room was not ready, as we arrived before check in time of 2pm,... More

This is a quaint old place and the stairs and floor reflect this in the main building. Paris room was comfortable with large en suite and comparatively quiet considering it faces the busy main road. Good lounge and bar area with honesty bar was a bonus. Breakfasts were variable. The full Kent breakfast appeared within minutes of ordering and clearly... More

Just returned from a wonderful weekend at the House of Agnes and what a fabulous place it was! We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We were shown round the downstairs areas, dining room, lounge, bar, even though we were several hours early for check in. Our room, the Paris, was lovely, great big bathroom with... More

My wife and I stayed for 1 night in late November 2014 in the main building in the "Canterbury" room The room was very comfortable and quiet at night (even though overlooking the main road) We had a nice breakfast next morning The hotel location is superb for exploring Canterbury being just outside the West Gate The main building has... From the moment I spoke with Michelle (head of house), I could tell the welcome would be really good and when we (me & wife) arrived we where not disappointed. Michelle & staff where actually waiting for us to arrive, they came running out to open the gate and let us drive through to the courtyard to park, when entering... More

Me and my Wife came to Canterbury for a graduation. We picked HOA for its quirkiness and we wasnt dissapointed. The staff were also very nice and accommodating and i loved the breakfast. Unfortunately my wife became ill and we had to leave early. The owner was very helpful to me and i would recommend this place to anyone that... More

Just come back from a weekend staying here. It was so lovely and clean. Everything you could want from a weekend stay was available. Great staff who were all so friendly. The room was beautifully decorated and the breakfast was just delicious. Also lovely lounges to relax in. My father is coeliac but they catered for him so well at... More

We enjoyed an excellent stay in this delightful B&B. The small things such as fresh milk and daily treats in the room were a nice touch as was the well stocked honesty bar. The main rooms are in the lovely old house which is located on the road near a railway level crossing so a little road noise in the... More

Really enjoyed our one night stay. Very conveniently located with just a short walk to the city centre. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was good. Our room was accessed by an outside staircase and was clean and comfortable. We would return.
