Stayed in one of the cottage rooms for a couple of nights enroute to Le Touquet. The room was perfectly adequate and the breakfast very good indeed. Location was perfect for exploring Canterbury with everything within a short walk. Service was friendly and efficient and the parking a real bonus.

Gorgeous, quirky hotel. Every whim catered for and staff so helpful. Breakfast was superb - clean room and softest towels ever. Free parking through narrow entrance - hotel makes this clear prior to booking. Loved it and would stay again.

I enjoyed my staying at House Of Agnes. It is nicely located, the room (Canterbury) is beautiful and cosy, the staff was friendly and supportive. The whole atmosphere was homelike. So House Of Agnes is a very nice choice for those who want to go to Canterbury.

We stayed for three nights in the House of Agnes. It took my daughter just five minutes to walk to the hotel from West Canterbury station. It is perfectly situated for exploring the city. Within ten minutes the first day we were in the Cathedral and enjoyed sampling the various restaurants within a very short stroll of the accommodation. We... More

I just want to say thankyou so much to Sandie and staff for making my two days very special. I stayed in the Paris room which was absolutely amazing. Beautiful bathroom and room. Bed was so cosy. Will definitely be back. The breakfast was fantastic with so much choice. I wish i had tried the cooked breakfast. Seeing it served... More

My husband booked here for a surprise Valentine's weekend, and what a treat. We were booked into the Venice room which was lovely with French doors opening out onto the garden. We had a spa bath in our actual room and I mean open plan (so maybe not to everyone's liking) but we loved it. The room was clean, comfy bed with... More

Tucked away near Canterbury West train station is the House of Agnes hotel. To drive through the old coaching arch to the free car park is an art if you have a wide car! The accommodation is very comfortable with a superb heating system and comfortable beds. If you are in the stable block you are very close to the... More

Great hotel / B&B, very welcoming proprietor, extremely comfortable rooms, excellent breakfasts and all mod cons despite the age and history of the building. Located just very short walk the centre of the city the hotel was the perfect base for a couple of days exploration of Canterbury. Highly recommended to anyone looking for comfort & convenience

We have stayed 4 times at House of Agnes and every time it remains the same brilliant quality! Nothing is too much for the staff, they are always friendly and accommodating and it feels like a home from home! The breakfasts are fresh and lovely and the honesty bar is so well priced that you won't want, or need, to... More
